Shoot the Rapids: "The boats didn't fit the flumes"

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

Cedar Point is still opening Saturday, but its new Shoot the Rapids attraction won't be along for the ride. Engineering problems with the ride -- the boats the passengers ride in were too long and didn't fit the flume -- forced the park to delay the ride's debut by two weeks.

What's really frightening is that he lists his DOB as 2 years older than I am, LOL.

And for the record, I love me some Intamin. My #1 coaster is El Toro, and Maverick is in my top 10. Heck, my top 20 is littered with Intamins. But, then, I've never been trown off of one either.

Yeah, we don't need people like that here.

The only regret I have about you deleting him is that he'll never get to read my witty response :( .

So it WASN'T Butters that wrote "Scrotie McBoogerballs"? ;)

Sorry, it was just too easy to make that leap...

Maybe he won't, but inquiring minds are waiting... :)

Oh I'm sure he's reading this... People with that much psychotic hatred can't be put down. He'll dial in from work or his neighbors etc....

I just hope he crosses my path someday - I'd enjoy the opportunity to confront such a closed minded idiot.

+1 for kicking him Jeff

You can probably find him here. :)

My response (most of it):

It should be "you're disgusting" not "your diguesting". Learn correct grammar & spelling before you come threatening me.

And if you want to come stalk me, come on down. I'm waiting.

Nothing too special. It's hard to reply to such poor grammar and bad spelling when you're not even quite sure they insulted you in anyway?

That isn't his real Fbook page is it? Good lord....

Hey, but anyway, we all know that Mr. Magoo was voiced by Thurston Howell III, right?

What a dork. I knew that he wouldn't last long.

Like I always said in HS when someone called me, or anyone near me a fag, "How would you like this fag to kick your ass in front of all of your friends?"

edit - added the letter "r".

Ooooh...that's HOT! ;)

Hmmm, I'm just wondering whether LK typed "dok" "nea" or "fiends"?

Wrong on all three guesses.

Lol. It's a very common mistake for me, and a fun riddle for anyone who cares to try and figure out. It's a lot easier than your average riddle. ;)

I'm gonna go with "you".

And having ridden Mickey's fun wheel and the Coney wonder wheel, Mickey ain't got nutthin on Wonder Wheel (I screamed like a girl, ask AVMatt).

I was actually more thrilled (scared) on Mickey's Fun Wheel (Sun Wheel at the time) than I was on the Wonder Wheel. Both were ridden in the swinging cars.

Are you the kind of guy who tells people what happened on Lost before they have a chance to watch it on their DVR or computer, Dave. lol

LOL, this sounds like This Is Spnail Tap: The Ride! These boats are one-bigger!

I had the same thought, but different scene. Perhaps the blueprints showed the boats' length in feet rather than inches.

LOL, I forgot about Stonehinge! rofl!!!
