Posted | Contributed by Jeff

I'm actually surprised, because they usually make good on their opening dates. Wonder why it got delayed?

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

Hope that date sticks. We made plans to head up there on the 30th a few months back.

Glad I didn't book a flight for media day!

...especially since there is nothing innovative about STR at all!

STR is still an Intamin. CP now bats .333 with getting a new Intamin up and running on time.

Not innovative? Intamin can't leave anything alone that has worked fine for decades. I'm sure they changed something proven. Engineers love to change things. ;)

Ah yes. An ECO costs $5000 and it justifies our existence :-)

A intimin ride that is not opening on time???

It can't be.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

If you only knew ........................;) Frankly I would be surprised if they make this date.

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

It was going to be far too cold anyway...

Is there a height limit yet?

None to be found. It's not listed in the brochure either.

Apollo got custody of the boats when the deal fell through.

My, my, my....how times have changed. This past decade at Cedar Point has taken the park from being the best in so many regards down to they can't even get their rides open and working correctly on time. I dare say Six Flags has gotten their act together better than Cedar Point at this point......who would ever have thought that day would come????

"Hello, Q Funding...we have a problem in Sandusky!"

I would not likely peg the blame on Cedar Fair beyond their recurring insistence on using Intamin.

*Rasies hand*

No one wanted to hear it though.

Interestingly, over the past 5 years, I've seen visits to SF parks feel more like visits to CF parks and vice versa.

In all fairness though, I think it says more about how far SF has come than how far CF has fallen.

(sorta wandered onto a sidetrack there)

The water has only been in the pools for a few days now, I would guess they found a problem while testing.

Rides are never the same on paper as they are in real life.... ask any engineer.

It was really a rough winter in Ohio this year, too. Lots of cold, lots and lots of snow.
