I dispute the claim that this ride was always this rough.
Maybe biggar is right when he says the ride is moody. I had one ride on it last year that I enjoyed, which is why I gave it another shot. But...this time it was 80 degrees, and I hated every second past the drops. The loops, which are usually smooth, were quite bumpy, and the turn into the brakes was pure violence. If you think that is "fun," just ask someone to hit you in the shoulders and head a couple times--no need to travel to Gurnee.
