Sheikra's Immelman Poles?

I was curious if anyone had an explanation for the poles that stick out horizontally from Sheikra's track on the pull up of its immelman (photo here). During construction, I vaguely remember there being consensus on the idea that they were going to support a catwalk of sorts, but as of yet no such thing has been installed. Are they there for optional catwalk installation (kindof like the empty trim brake mounts that B&M has included on several of their more recent coasters) or... ?

Just curious if anyone has a concrete explanation for them. Thanks,

- BB

I'm never 100% sure, but I believe it's for an optional net to keep "stuff" from falling onto the midways.
I agree...it's for a net.

Fever I really enjoy the Simpsons. It's just a shame that I am starting to LOOK like Homer.

It's so you can hook up the internets.

Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

Oh good, a place for me to plug in my internet-ready toaster when I get down to Tampa. Nothin like some delicious automated toastering coastering.

Think it's T3?

Those poles do look at LOT less *unnecessary* now that the nets are hung in place...

I get to see them up close tomorrow! Yay me! :)

That's excellent, look forward to a TR *nudge... nudge.* Anyway, I hadn't run across photos with nets in place, so thanks for the info.
