Shake Rattle and Roll gone at Kings Island

Not sure if anybody noticed, or even cared for that matter but the Shake Rattle and Roll has disappeared from Kings Island. I'm not sure if it was a sudden maintenance issue but if it is gone for good then Kings Island is down another flat ride.

Screamscape posted that a park rep said it was taken out for rehab and will be back next year. Thank goodness.

It was down when we visited....I was a little bummed, one of my favorite flats. I ride it in a participatory fashion... ;~P

That's their Troika, right? Love those.

During our visit late June it was "on blocks." Completely removed from its mounting and supported by giant blocks of wood. Was interesting to see, as you don't normally see heavy mx being performed on rides in plain view.
