SFWoA Questions

I am heading out to WoA this coming weekend, and I was hoping somebody could help me out with a few questions.. 1) Do you have to take the ferry across the lake to get to the marine part of the park, or can you walk around to it? 2) If we decide to hit the waterpark, I am guess that they have lockers, and changing rooms? 3) What is the absolute must ride at the park?
U can walk across and take the ferry to the marine side of the park if u want to. I did that when I went to the park b4. The must ride is the park is, of course Batman: Knight Flight, Superman: Ultimate Escape, and X-Flight. The crowd starts running 2 X-Flight almost all the time I've been there, so get there when the park opens. I've been 2 the water park and they do have changing rooms and lockers. Last time I was there, the lockers where around $5.00.

You can't forget about Big Dipper in the front seat, a must ride.

1. No you can take 3 routes the ferry, the bridge, or the trail behind RWB that leads to Happy Harbor and WL side

2. Yeah lockers are 6.00 for small 10.00 for large. The Changing rooms and The lockers are all in the sam vicinity. I would suggest a locker because there has been alot of stealing at the park lately!!

3.Must rides Big Dipper 1-1 and 1-3 B:KF 1-1 S:UE, and Defintatly the villain 1-1

A must eat is at the Mandarin Buffet across from the whale stadium, amazing food, even tho pricy, its just a good deal for an amusement park....

i know you didnt ask about food, but you have to eat there....whenever im there, i could stay a whole day, and thats all the money i would spend on food...just at the buffet. man i love that place!

everything you can think of are must rides, the park doesnt really have a signature ride....its more of like 4 with X Flight, BKF, Villain, & S:UE....plus Big Dipper is very awesome towards the front.

Like said above, the lockers are $6 and $10, that'll give you umlimited access to your locker thru out the day. No more pay per use lockers at the park.

Some must ride rides: BKF(front and back), S:UE(front and back), Villain(front and back), Big Dipper(front), X-Flight, and RWB is worth a spin if the wait is very short(first half very rough, second half very smooth, good lateral g's)

For food, Mandarin Buffet and Alfonso's Cafe both have good all you can eat deals, and both have dencent food.

Is the water park worth going to? I am going to be there two days with my almost two year old daughter. She loves the water, and I was wondering if there is a kiddy area of the water park?
GAmNut68:

I think this park is FAR MORE ENJOYABLE than people let on on this site. My personal favorites at WoA: BKF (Batman's Knight Flight - missing a zero-g roll but has airtime at the very end to make up for it), and THE VILLAIN, an instant classic from CCI.

yeah here are two kiddie areas! Theres Hook Lagoon, and the famous Turtle Beach both kiddie water areas!

Do you have a Season Pass??

If I were you I'd try Hurricane Mountain first then Shark Attack because those become very popular and fill up quickly! Also I would suggest getting an Inner tube, I forget how much they are! yYopu rent it for I believe $5.00 for the whole day and you can go anywhere with it!

The water park would definately be a god place for kids. But i find it overall lacking even with the new slides. There's a reason it's not a seperate gate. Also the "Looney Toons Boomtown opened as one of the best kidie lands i have ever seen. While a little worn, it's still a great place.

Must ride rides? Big Dipper and Villian. I always point out that they have one if not the ONLY smooth Arrow looper in the Double Loop. HA Other than that there is nothing left that i would go out of my way for beyond that classic Carrousel.

If you have a season pass you xan get in 1/2 hour earlier than GP does! Enter throught the gate by the monorail Station!!
