SFWoA Fastlane SUCKS!!

"Bad"

The only way to describe today.

FASTLANE SUCKS.

Reasons:

$10 for 5 rides. While worth it, when they don't let you use it before 8pm, it PISSES ME OFF.

While in the regular line for S:UE, I waited MUCH longer, because FL people took our seats. This can't continue. The lines are horrible, and people get VERY ticked, including me.

Serial Thriller---red train, Fastlaners can go anywhere in the train, except front or back, and then people board. At least 5 FLers went each time, so, for the regular line, it is basically one train operation.

Same with Villain and S:UE, except with S:UE every other train got FLers.

Fastlane works like this---

Get a card with the numbers 1-5 on them. At each ride, it gets punched out.

I got a card, went to X-F, where 4 rows are reserved for FL'ers. EACH COASTER NEEDS THIS.
Then went to S:UE, where I basically "Stole" a couples row for another row, basically like the handicapped people, except its half the rows every other ride. It sucks. Went to Serial Thriller, same deal as S:UE. Lighting came. Afterwards, went to Villain, same deal.

Around 7:45, I went to use my last punch at X-Flight. ACCESS DENIED. At least 30 minutes until we would even be allowed into the station. No reason given. I left pissed, and wasted ride # 5 on Mind Eraser, where I met a woman and we shared our horrifying X-Flight tale.

If you HAVE a pass, it is good, but for everyone else, it SUCKS. Expect to wait twice as long in the regular lines.

The X-Flight thing PISSED ME OFF. I was so damn pissed. But, my buddies Dave & Dan were nowhere, so I couldn't yell at them.

I will not be purchasing any more FL passes, and I refuse to support this ****ty "idea"

Big lightning storm in the afternoon. S:UE, Double Loop, Mind Eraser, X-Flight, & Mr Hyde's all "got hit" Within an hour, all but Loop & Hyde's were open again.

Now, after the rain, we walked by Silver Bullet, to find a cop laying on the ground, with people saying he could possibly be dead. I looked, and, well, I passed out.

I always think of myself as "strong stomached" I can chug three milk cartons, down a cheeseburger & fries at Jukebox, and do a Time Warp marathon. I can dissect in Biology. But, the thought of looking at a man who could possibly have died made me have to immediatly find a bench, and then I went out for a few seconds.

Anyone know more??

Had dinner at Lakeside Cafe at Life. Good grub.

Silver Bullet was still DDM.

Dipper ran two trains. RWB ran two trains, but both closed after the rain.

Fastlane is a WONDERFUL idea, but the excecution right now is TERRIBLE. If anyone plans on waiting standby, plan on at LEAST 20 more minutes in line.

I still say all these parks should have left it to Disney and I'm surprised they haven't sued, because they have a copyright or something like that on it. Maybe they want to wait and see how many parks try to do it and then go on a massive suing spree? They could get big bucks for that! Different name, same idea. Disney's is Fastpass. Universal's is/was Fast Track. And now Six Flags has Fast Lane. I believe Paramount started this at PKD as well?
PKD has it for Hypersonic and Volcano.
I don't think they have the rights for the idea, and since they don't use the same name, I don't think it matters.

It is all the excecution that makes this suck. It is a brilliant idea, if done right.
Another Six Flags quality device!
Yeah right.

SixFlags are you listening? This is definitely not the best choice for a Queue system...
