SFWoa Can They Do Any Worse?
Is it my imagination or do the rides at SFwoa break down all the time, in addition to that they never seem to run the full alotment of trains on rollercoasters, and the park is filthy?

Either it's both our imaginations or you are correct. Comon!!! ONE train for x-flight? for Villian?? For Superman?? (ok, that one doesn't count :) ) Thay could do better.

i have never been to the park , but from what i hear it's dirty, full of rude employees, only half of the rides are ever open and when they are they only have one train running, i've heard the park has a crap atmosphere and i heard a guy pissed in a bottle in line and then dumped it out on the ground. Gee, this makes me really want to visit the park when i can go on an impulse at two other parks, a boomerang at almost every other park, an slc also at almost every other park and on a flying dutchman in maryland. I think they need improvement.
Don't beleive everything you read. "Bashing SfWoA IS a sporting event at CoasterBuzz." If it were even 1/1000th as bad as these people make it out to be I wouldn't take my family there. BTW, what are the chances you will run into that guy? I'll say it again that can and does happen anywhere.

Judging from YA ALL... (ie: the Coasterbuzz crew), you make Worlds of Adventure seem like it needs a lot of help (this includes the Webmaster Jeff)...
I really want to visit the park (it's only a 3-hr drive for me) for the first time because of 10 coasters, a new board-walk area, and a marine park area... plus all the talk for the future plans.
However, the overall park experience seems dampered by all of YOUR personal experiences, such as a dirty atmosphere, in-efficient ride-ops, totally inadequate ride capacity when the park gets crowded...
It almost makes me want to think twice before I use up a tank of gas for a day trip!
Honestly...
Do they need to increase staffing?
Do they need to increase ride capacity?
Do they need to clean the park more?
Are the employees in need of more training on overall customer-service?

I really want to visit the park (it's only a 3-hr drive for me) for the first time because of 10 coasters, a new board-walk area, and a marine park area... plus all the talk for the future plans.
However, the overall park experience seems dampered by all of YOUR personal experiences, such as a dirty atmosphere, in-efficient ride-ops, totally inadequate ride capacity when the park gets crowded...

Dawg Byte: read some of the TR posted to the refreshinglook.com site. You will get a more holistic view of the park. Just like if you want a *true* picture of CP visit guidetothepoint.com. If you just read the post here you would believe that one park $#!+$ gold and the other park is just $#!+. But visiting those two sites show a more complete picture of the parks.
If you want to simply accept the opinions of others, that's fine. But I encourage you to check it out yourself. Remember, this place cant be that bad. Even the people who post like they hate it keep going back ;)

SFWoA isn't as bad as people make it sound. Most lines are not that long (with the exception of X-Flight). The park is not dirty; the lake is beautiful. As for rude employees, I have only ran into a few, while most are very kind. Not all the ride ops are real quick with dispatching trains, but they do a pretty good job. Yes broken down rides are a problem and I agree those mechanics need to get with it. My guess for why the park isn't running as well as it should is because in the last 2 years the park has basically doubled its size and needs time to adjust. Six Flags has rushed this park. Just five years ago they had only four coasters. It was just a small local park which has grown to one of the midwest's largest parks in half a decade. If Six Flags wants SFWoA to compete with CP then they will have to get more ops and mechanics into this park to get it running to capacity. Better customer service would help too. Other then that it is a great park and I would not discourage any one from going there.
I feel the same way as Andrew. I go to SFWoA often and the park is not that bad. True, CP does have a little better customer service, but so what? WoA is no worse employee wise than any other park.

Rides breakdown all the time at any park.
It's like Raptor was down for a while at Coastermania this year and last years Coastermania we experienced a brown out.
As for SFWoA being filthy,I've never went to an amusement park that wasn't.

I have yet to see anything filthy at SFWoA. And the bathrooms were just fine as well. Are these people reporting on the same park? Have they even been there? Or maybe it just makes them feel a little better about "their" park to belittle another one.

I went last week and every ride was open except the boomerang because SF closed all of those, even in Europe. Batman was down for awhile, but opened later in the day. A part was shipped the night before from Vekoma and reached the park a little after lunch. It took the mechanics only 5 hours to fix it. All the trains were running on the rides except x-flight (they tried to recline the second train, but the last car wouldn't.) Most of the crews were fast (not Big Dipper) The Double Loop crew was running to check restraints; a guy fell once when he was trying to hit the unlock thing with his foot. The park is the dirtest of the Big 3 Ohio parks, but cleaner than SFA, SFOG, SFGAm, Kennywood, and SFMM.
Maybe some people have hidden motives for bashing SFWOA - like Cedar Point or PKI is their home park. But I'm from the from the UK and have visited the park twice: May 2000 and May 2001.
The first visit I thought the park was great and full of potential, this was because it had only just opened as Six Flags and was still not too popular. On my second visit is where I saw all of their poblems.
I went the day before Coastermania and several other enthusiasts were there as well. Around park closing there must have been about 80 people in line at Guest Services complaining about one thing or another, and most of these were the general public. They refused to let anyone speak to a manager, and actually called security to clear the people away.
Obviously I was not alone in my dissatitisfaction with the park on my visit, and it seems that several people here are unhappy with it too.

DawgByte:I suggest going to the park to form your own opinion. I honestly never rely on others opinions on this site or any other site to persuade me from visiting certain parks. Theres no doubt the park has some awesome rides, its just they need to work on some of their operational performances. I personally dont have a problem with the park.
