SFWOA 7/2/01 X-Flight still breaking down

Associated parks:
None

I went to Six Flags Worlds of adventure monday July 2ND. I spent ten bucks for the fast lane pass, but u only get 5 chances to go to the front of the line. I used it to ride X-Flight twice though. That saved me four hours alone. The ride is awesome, but breaks down way too much. By halfway through the day they were running 2 trains, which made the line much quicker. At around 8:30 I got in line to ride it one last time. I had used up my Fast Lane Pass so I would finally have to actually wait.I was finally next in line, and a restraint wouldn't lock. A half hour later the matinence guys came. The took the restraint apart, but it still wouldn't lock. They put it back together, but the one guy dropped a screw through the track. It had to hold something! Right after that a cop came and told us he would escort us to front of the line, in the other station. Instead of doing that, the Six Flags people let all of the people who just got there go in front of us. We stayed for about 20 more minutes, but they still let the people go so me and the other 6 people with me left. By that time the park was closed, but we stayed for at least a half hour longer. By the time we got to our car, the people still hadn't moved. My trip to six flags wasn't very enjoyable. All the rollercoasters were awesome, but the food was way too expensive($18.95 for two cheesburger and fries, and to regular cokes). The lemonade tasted like crap too. I won't be going back to SFWOA any time soon.

Because the food is expensive, the lemonade is bad, and a ride was closed, you wont go back.

I bet if it was CP you would.
uh, no Mongoose...Cedar Point DOESN'T have that problem, that's why we go back. If CP had the same guest service Six Flags did, people would be complaining to.

I don't blame you for not going back to SFwoa, I have a seasons pass and I will not be going back. That place really needs a big overhaul. The comment about CP, I didn't see anyone, anyone complaining at CP this year, that is all you see at SFwoa. It is time to stop sticking up for that garbage amusement park.
They dropped the screw through the track? Idiots.

Speaking of garbage at SFWOA. That's exactly what I was treated to on 7/8/01. Actually, it was sewage from the toilets to be exact. Apparently, the city of Aurora lost power and one third of the park went down, including the toilets. One interesting side effect of the toilets not working, was the raw sewage pouring down the midway by El Dorado. Simply walking in the area made people physically ill.
