Hello Coaster Fans Who Are Now Excited That All Theme Parks Are Open Even On Weekdays!!

This is a rare post for me (since it has some pictures in it). They won't be up very long on the internet, so enjoy them while you can :) I will aslo try to make this short and sweet.

I made it up to the park around 11am today, with my main goal to finish up my pictures for a few people. I knew it was Saturday (and I wasn't on anything), I even realized it was Memorial Weekend ;) The parking lot was filling up pretty good (especially since they were calling for a high of 50 and rain later.) This season parking pass is GREAT!!

I rode X-Flight right away, which now has two trains on the track. Great ride today and good crew. Went over to Superman, which is now running, and flying all the way up to the top of the spikes. I rode this about 8 times real quick...quick note about the crews: ALL the crews were EXCELLENT today. I can really say, that they were all doing great jobs, even Road Runner Express crews where making the kids smile. Villain's crew had the train already out of the station even before train 2 hit the brakes!

While in line for S:UE I noticed all the construction for Hurricane Moutain

I noticed how REALLY twisted these slides are and how much they intertwine with each other. This complex is goine to be GREAT!! I hit El Derado which is also up and running great this year

Big Dipper behind it was also smooth as glass and ejecting me out of my seat...I love riding this by myself since you can fly around in the seat :)

I headed over to the Wild Life side next via the floating board walk. They have the paddle boats now up and running. They are located between the boardwalk, and the city park. Paddle Boats

You pay for them by Hook's Lagoon. And there is an area roped off in the lake that you can't go past.

Oh, here is a picture for all those people wondering what the Beachcomber's Season Pass place looks like: Season Pass Holder's Hang Out

All the flowers and landscaping have REALLY matured since opening day, ALL three parts of the park have flowers that look great and the landscaping is awesome all throughout the park now. The landscaping crew has really been busy, and it shows all their hard work.

I took a ride on the New Starfish
This ride will get the average person pretty sick, but I love this ride!! and they put it in a great location (it's where the old Sea World Dolphin statue use to be...the one that every Ohioan has a picture sitting on it!!)

After that I went over to see how big the Tigers were getting. They have grown a lot over the winter, one came over to see me again ;) Nice Kitty
I had to do my weekly climbing of the nets...which is a must for anyone at this park, since adults can do it too! This is a great workout

There were A LOT of really big concents going on at the park today all over the place. Radio Disney was there doing all the promotions for it...man, was there a lot of kids loving this thing: M-I-C-K-E-Y S-F-W-O-A

After that I went back over to the Wild Rides side where I almost got run over by HIM
On the path by BKF. By now I was getting annoyed with this rain, sunny, rain, sunny thing I was all sticky, so I thought about getting a shower in the newly installed Showers on the SFWoA Midway
It's a nice refreshing mist that comes out of them...and some pretty funny pictures with friends (group photo everyone!!)

Before I left for they day, I wanted to head over and see the new waterslides (since today was the first day the waterpark was open). Here are some new pics of: Shark Attack
And Hurricane Mountain (this structure is MASSIVE)!!
HUGE structure of Hurricane Mountain

As for a few other side notes, I saw almost to many sweeps. They were everywhere, I guess it's a good thing, but they really were everywhere. They have also added more 25cent water bombs in Hurrican Harbor for the laxy river, and up the viewing deck of Grizzly Run. The park has also updated the Dance Revolution Machine to DDR Extreme. Oh, and the park was giving out free Orange Juice at the front of the park :)

In all it was a great day, even if it was cold and raining. Thanks for reading, and see you on the midways!!
