SFWoA - Opening Weekend

Intamin was probably spending all their time over at CP working on TTD all the time. So SUE was ignored.

A.K.A. Batman Bastard

One i don't think that Intamin is that small that they couldn't afford to spare a few people to do necessary work at other parks. But really i don't think that it would be Intamin's job to handle annual maintenance.
XtremeTheme - you're quite welcome, I'm glad and surprised that my comments made it that far! And I really mean every word I said - as of day 1, you guys have made leaps and bounds of progress. I was at the park by myself that day (no one else could/would go with me so I said screw em all) and I spent over 8 hours in the park without getting bored. You've reclaimed this customer =)

BTW - which one of the crew are you? I remember most of your names (I was lookin for Jes all day, I want to see what the prize is!) and maybe next time I'm at the park I'll say hey.

Xtreme Theme would be Porky I mean Brian lol. Thanks for the compliment, it's nice to hear those once and a while. We always try our best to pump out trains and interact with the guests. It's not easy though because stupid a$$ guests always try to bring carry-ons onto the ride...a big no no. Say whats up next time you see him or the tall skinny kid with glasses lol.

Remember, its still very early in the season, and Saturday/Sunday at Geauga Lake Park was quite cold, so you need to give Wolf Bobs some time to warm up, plus, that G- train hasen't run in a couple of years.

Yes, it may have seemed slow, but its not broken in yet. The G trains are easier on the Tracks than the PTC's are and also, even though you may feel bumps, the train isn't shuffeling anymore. Give it some time.

Actually that train runs a lot faster then either of the PTCs from last year, by about 15seconds around track. Also that train ran all year last year, the Black and Silver train sat out a year.

Wonder why V2 and S:UE are still yet to have their trains on them. Poor planning on Six Flags part.

V2 was up and running opening day at SFGAm. It opened late, but regardless, it still opened.

I visited Saturday, before the big day at Cedar Point. After my first visit and terrible experience with WoA the day before Coastermania '02, my impression of the park made a major turnaround for the better on Saturday.
The staff was friendly, the grounds were clean, plus they had most everything I wanted to do which was open. Two-train ops on Batman and Villain really helped.
Little disappointed with the monorail, tower, and Superman being closed due to construction, but those were minimal inconveniences. Especially since I couldn't do Double Loop or Villain last visit.

Double Loop: Arrow classic: smooth until you get to the loops...
Villain: quick operation, smooth, airtime. Love the trick track!
Raging Wolf Bobs: If they re-tracked it completely, it would have been a much better ride. Train: at least it doesn't have head rest or the cumbersome orange ratcheting lap bars with seat belts!
Batman: Possibly my favorite B&M, love the quick dispatches with 2 trains
Big Dipper: A serious classic; if they could only use both trains.
Serial Thriller: It's a Vekoma boomerang, but not bad.
Mind Eraser: Better than the SFKK T2
X-Flight: Although I know I'm secure, I feel like the upper restraints are really loose, and I had to hold on to the hand grip during the hanging parts of the ride.
And they definitely need to get the other train on, especially using the other station.

I also went to the Wildlife side and was impressed with an area with both rides, exhibits, and shows. One thing I don't get is why the didn't run the sidewalk escalators in the shark or penguin exhibits...

I have a feeling that they actually listened and took action after last year's mix-ups and complaints... This well-roundedpark will be a great add-on to a CP trip.
