SFWoA - August 8

Associated parks:
None

Today was another great day at my home park, possibly the best. According to my Mom, weather forecasters were saying that today would be the hottest day of the summer. Of course, she was saying "Will you be okay?", "Will you pass out?" and all that kind of stuff. It turned out to be okay with all the fluids that I ended up drinking.

We arrived at the park at around 1:15 with the parking lot being filled to it's usual spot. I was going with a friend who hadn't been there at all this summer and she was excited to ride X-Flight. That was our first stop.

Of course, it's still a fun and creepy ride at the same time. We rode it in the front seat and waited about an hour for it. It was a great ride and my eyes were watering so much afterwards! :)

We ended up riding X-Flight two more times that evening, once in the middle and once in the back. Back seemed to be the best, IMO. :)

Took a few spins on the Villain in the day, and once at night. Great ride as usual...

We spent some time in Hurricane Harbor reluctantly. The wave pool is too crowded for my liking on hot days. I like it better when only a few people are in it, so I will have to try out that Prime Time season pass thing sometime soon before HH closes. We also went in the Calypso Creek (the lazy river) and walked around twice. Be careful of the rocks on the side.. ouch!

We also rode BKF (with no line at all), S:UE, RWB (rougher than normal), and BD (twice, at night). All of the rides were great.

I took my friend over to the WL side and we spent about 30 minutes inside the rope climbing thingamabober (I am horrible when it comes to names). It was a LOT of fun and I wasn't expecting it to be, but I really liked it. I guess today the park felt like playing Beatles songs because that it what they played (and in case you didn't know, I'm a big Beatles fan!). That added to the fun and excitement.

After visiting the aquarium and getting some more refills, we rode a few more rides and left. Today was another great day at SFWoA and I wish some SFWoA-bashers would have a day like this! :)
