Hey All,
I would like to post my trip report and a link to my first (notice I say FIRST) digital pictures. Here goes.
I decided that we should get our passes processed, and we ended up leaving the house at 5:45. We took the LONG way instead of the highway, figuring we would run into traffic along the highway. I was REALLY excited to go since I haven't been there since October. I was ready to take some pictures! Only problem, I thought, was that it was dark, and you will notice the darkness in some of my pictures.
So... we're going down that road, looking at S:UE's spikes. Then, I get my first real life glimpse at X-Flight. Oh, how magnificent it is! We pulled into the parking lot while my mom says, "Let's hope there is actually someone at the center." She has a grudge against how SFWoA is run.
So we get our passes processed, and I pick up a little brochure with the schedule. Guess what? May 4 is not highlighted in ANY color except white, meaning it's closed. Is this true? If so, opening day is May 5, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. I really hope this is not true!
Onto the picture taking. I took a lot of pictures of X-Flight while the crew was working on the brake run before the lifthill. I didn't get any good photos of the brake run before the station because it was TOO dark, and you wouldn't be able to see any of it. Sorry guys.
We traveled around the park twice and I took some photos from the Sea World side, also.
So, it's getting darker and I finally stop. We then leave and I review my pictures. Quite dark, frankly. Fortunately, they turned out okay.
Well, that's my TR. I enjoyed it, and so did my family. My dad asks, "How DOES this thing work?" I told him, "Let me put it this way. You WON'T like it." Note: He HATES going backwards and upside down... so, you get the picture why I said that.
So, I hope you enjoy the pictures I've uploaded.
