Well, for me, coaster season has now begun. Yesterday was opening day at my home park of SFStL, and man does it feel good to be back. We arrived at the park about ten minutes before the park opened. As soon as the ropes dropped, we took of for The Boss. We boarded the front of the back car, which is my favorite seat. I noticed the new lapbars on the G-Trains, which, although they look a little better, and they don't really help all that much. The seat divider was also removed. Well, this was simply a great ride. It may be because I've gone without coasters since October, but it seemed like the airtime was somewhat better than last year. We grabbed two more rides on The Boss, while there was no line.
Then we headed over to Screamin' Eagle, but that section of the park was closed at the time, so we decided to hit Mr. Freeze. There was no line here, so we got two rides in a row. Freeze was running fast as ever, and I greyed out on both of my trips. Now it was time for Ninja. Not too much to say about this ride. It was pretty much a bore, and since the line was unusually long, we decided not too ride again.
We headed to the back of the park, and that section was open now, so we grabbed a couple of rides on Screamin' Eagle. Nice air, and an overall fun ride, as usual. We grabbed lunch after this, and headed back to the front of the park, for B:TR. Here, we waited through the hour-long line, which was caused by only one train being run. That's Six Flags for ya. Batman was smooth and intense as usual, a great ride.
We grabbed one more ride on Boss, and then I met up with Jon, a friend of mine who works at the park. On his break we caught another ride on Freeze. I decided on another ride on the Eagle, but when I got there it was closed. So I headed back down to the stand where Jon works, and he told me that due to a severe thunderstorm, the coasters were all closing down. Well, from here, things got worse. I spent my final hour at the park chatting with him, and watching the weather get worse and worse. Crowds of people poured out of the park, causing the worst traffic I've ever seen coming out of the park. So, up until closing it was a great opening day at the park.:)

I was there yesterday and I too was upset they had only one train on Batman. The Boss was running exceptionally well and the rides I had in the front seat were better than anything I remember from it last year. Stuff broke down all over the place including the Boss (with me on it), Mr. Freeze and screaming Eagle.
Overall I had a fun day at the park but it was cut short as they closed all of the coasters at 6:45 because of the impending weather.
Boss also broke down with me on it! I was in the train that got stuck on the final brake run. We were there for about 15 minutes, and finally they got the ride up and running again.

Were you on the one in the station or the one that wasn't? I was in the front car of the one that wasn't in the station.
I was on that same train! Except we were in the back car.

I noticed that Batman's second train wasn't even on the track (although it didn't matter on Sunday, the park was practically empty). I assume it is out for refurbishment... hope they get that sorted out before crowds really pick up.
I got there late and only went on 4 rides because I wanted to go to the concert. It rocked. But the new lap bars on the Boss really don't help at all. and I noticed they painted the cars for the Screain Eagle.
At fright fest last year they only had one train on the Batman. I don't know why. But it made it a long wait with someone that smelled in the building. Becuase that line usually moves fairly fast.
The Studio Commisary right by the Ninja they are making into a Chineese restaurant.

EVERY time I was in line for Boss, the train got stuck on the final brake run! It only took about 10 minutes to fix. I have never actually been on it when it gets stuck though.....
I was there on May 5th, and I was in the line for Batman and they started sending out empty trains, so I asked someone coming out of the exit why & they said that the OTSR kept coming open during the ride! I dont know the specific details, but thats what happened.
