SFStL Opening Weekend Update - BBNP & STOP

Swoosh

They sure have done a lot of work to this place. The new kiddie
section looks great and the new paint on Screamin' Eagle makes it look
brand new again. STOP is coming along and should be ready for a May
opening. Also the newly expanded Moon Cars track is open. See these
and more at the latest update on MiG.

Eagle looks fantastic. What is left to do on the drop tower?
Nice urinal shot there, Swoosh. You certainly "aim to please." :) *** Edited 4/4/2006 4:48:57 AM UTC by Acoustic Viscosity***

Nice update Swoosh!

Fever I really enjoy the Simpsons. It's just a shame that I am starting to LOOK like Homer.

LOL w/ Matt regarding the urinal pics...SFStL needs those signs outside that say "no pictures no photography" to keep the pervs like Swooshy at bay...;)

Good work D, thanks for posting... :)

Maybe it's because I'm learning FireworksMX, but I find it ridiculous how big the pictures are. It's nothing personal, but it takes way too long to load, and it's unnecessary. With Fireworks, I can easily get those pictures down to middle to low double digits without any quality loss. I think the pictures are great, but I don't have to time to wait several minutes for each page to generate. You say--"Who still uses dial-up?" Unfortunately I do. I don't have $500 a year to spend on a fast connection.

So I'll have to wait to see the rest of the pictures until I can get a fast connection this week.

I'm not one to dog on the work, but some smaller pictures would be nice.

The pics look great, the park looks even better! The Eagle looks like a completely new coasters. Did you go to the park Saturday or Sunday? From this pic the crowds don't look big at all (http://www.midwestinfoguide.com/sixflags/040406/48.JPG)

How were the crowds?

Hopefully I can make it down there this coming weekend sometime to check it out.

I have a pretty eventful next 2 months of park visiting. Have to hit SF:STL, WoF on April 15th, Knotts on May 5th, SFMM on May 6th, and CP sometime during a week in May!

I can't wait :D

Matt & Bill, if you saw how this restroom used to look you too would take photos of it. It is soooo much nicer. ;)

I have no recollection of the restrooms at SFStL. Which RR does that one happen to be?

It is the one closest to the entrance to Screamin' Eagle's queue line.

I got to see all the pictures today on an HP 1.7Ghz Pentium 4 with hi-speed internet and the pictures still took a little while to come in, but hey, I got to see them all and they look great. It's really wetting my appetite for a possible trip there this summer, especially since it contains one of the 'stolen' Great Adventure flats which I never got to ride, despite multiple attempts (at least I rode the Huss Jump twice before that disappeared).

I really like the colors on STOP. They're very sharp.

Well the next update that I do I will work on making "smaller" pics. All the computers that I have used have no problems opening them up quickly. Guess I am spoiled with the speed of my servers/connections. :)

My computer is slower than yours, I-Fan, and I had no trouble with the pics. Perhaps it's your DSL and not your processing speed?

It must be an ID10T error!

Is it May 19th yet?
