I read on Thrillride that Six Flags St. Louis would possibly be getting a Superman: Ride Of Steel of 250-ft in 2002. Is this true? Has anyone heard anything other than that rumor for SFStL 2002?
That wouldn't be bad in the least. I do have a pretty god feeling SFSTL will be getting something for 2002.

It all sounds very likely to me. Either that or a Gio in that same height range.

I don't care what they get, as long as they get something. Looking back on my childhood I can't fathom how I was passified with only the Eagle, Jet Scream and the Mine Train. It's an original SF and they deserve to be treated at least as well as the other originals. I want SFStL to get a major steel coaster and some type of tower ride, hopefully like Acrophobia. On a side note I hope they don't put it in behind the Eagle bc that backdrop is classic and I don't want it to ever be ruined.
Cant put any thing behind the Screamin Eagle because they don't own the land. According to all maps I have seen the land immediately behind the Screamin Eagle is part of Rockwoods reservation.
We would LOVE to see something new at our home park, but the only new thing we expect at SFStl is a price increase! :)

I have sources who say that it's VERY likely...so let's hope for the best.:) A hyper is really the only type of coaster we need at this point. A freefall would be perfect as well.

Hey, don’t forget that we did get a new attraction this year – the mechanical bull…
But, seriously, SFStL did kind of get screwed this year – original SF park, 30th anniversary, and no new ride… guess they’re still paying off the Boss…
I wouldn’t hold my breath for anything new next year either – remember how everyone and their brother thought we were getting a drop ride this year… (a SROS clone would be great though)
What was St Louis's most recent coaster Mr. Freeze. Is Mr Freeze rough also because Batman & Robin The Chiller gives u one hell of a headache.
No the Boss is.
