SFoT "Launches" Superman Tower of Power
A local TV station aired a segment on the new 313-foot-tall 3-pronged S&S tower now known by the official name - Superman - Tower of Power.
It is to open in Spring of 2003 as North America's tallest S&S tower, dethroning Knott's Supreme Scream (312' without counting flagpole) by only a foot! LOL.
If there were some way I could make an attachment, I would attach a short video clip from the news thing (provided by SFOTCOASTERNET) where the broadcast was made.

Why wasn't that animation put on the 'net? I looked and their official site had NOTHING about it? What kind of announcement was that?
EDIT: Mike, don't you mean Space Shot, Turbo Drop, and *COMBO* ride as opposed to double shot? Double Shot makes it sound like one of those smaller towers that shoot you up twice.

Yes Joe, I meant "Combo". I wonder where the idea of "Double Shot" came from after seeing "Combo" for so long already. Hmmm...
And yes, where is that animation??? That short clip on the news doesn't do it justice. I wonder why no full out announcement.
