Get a ride on Shockwave for me Andy...oh, and Freeze....and Giant....
I need to move to Texas! ;)

And how much is season parking?
<= too lazy to call the park
Bill - Will do. I actually was a little anticipointed by the park on my first visit. Shockwave was quite good, as was Titan, though neither are that re-ridable with all the forces (I'm really prone to grey-outs and black-outs). Texas Giant wasn't running that well (though I'll have to try it at night) and Mr. Freeze didn't hold a candle to either side of Chiller. S:TOP was quite good, but again, nothing especially new. I did really enjoy the indoor coaster (Runaway mountain) and the mine train. I'll probably have a better time at the park when I can take the time to enjoy it rather than blowing through it trying to find the quickest way between all the coasters. ;) All said, I would still take GAm. or GAdv. or even SFoG or SFNE. Of course, I still haven't really dealt with the staff, so perhaps they'll tip the balance in favor of SFoT. *** Edited 9/9/2005 4:39:13 PM UTC by ApolloAndy***

Hmm, I believe season parking is around $30, but you get two season parking tickets, so if you know anyone else who wants one you could go in $15 and $15 with them. I know some parks do pass parking strangely, but SFOT prints a P to the right of your name on the pass. If you can find any other parks that do that, you get free parking there too :)
Due to the proximity of SFOT to the ballpark (and probably greedy Six Flags) our parking is $9. Come twice if you go in $15 and $15 with a friend and it is more than paid for.
Also, there is an ACE event this weekend (Lone Star Coasterthon) on the 10th and the 11th. There is 6.5 hours of ERT scheduled on 9 of the park's 12 coasters (not Flashback [closed], Mini Mine Train, or Canyon Blaster). Also the park has scheduled ERT on Superman: Tower of Power and Log Flume 1 at night. Flume 1 was the World's first log flume and is set back in the trees. Night time ERT should be interesting.
On site registration is $50 for ACE members and $60 for non-members. The price includes admission, two breakfasts, two lunches, over 6 hours of ERT, a 25% Discount on shopping, and an event T-shirt.
The event flyer can be found here even though I pretty much just copied it ;)

But I don't know how others feel, but there is no way in HELL I would live in Texas. Visiting for 48 hours is fine, and it's not the heat/humidity that bothers me so much.
Riding Giant in the back..well..Don't unless you are a masochist. You'll either like it or hate it, so..
Superman with a 3 hour line? Yeah. Not worth it. Superman with a 30 minute line? Yeah. Not worth it. Use the single rider line.
