What? No Ricochet rides?

Not this time. :-)

Oh, I love Diet Coke, although I try to restrict my aspartamine and caffeine consumption (doctors orders).

Visiting the Coke museum was like an alcoholic visiting a brewery. ;-)

After the consuming all the caffeine, sugar, and aspartamine, I really became light headed, or was that the Beverly?

By the way.........here are a few half-decent pics of my trip. :-)

Oh, and Bill....if you guys would like me to post some of yours on my Pbase site please send em my way. I know Jill got a bunch of our group that were hilarious!

Jim, I always thought it was the scotch, not socks, "duh" me. Yes, it was one fantastic weekend with some great people, other than the Gator. He is just old hat but his Jill is fun to be with.

Ed

The scotch helps too Ed ;) The regular updates I received were fun and made me smile over the weekend.

I'm sure Jill did her best to lose Gator on the way but you know how persistent he can be lol

Tina-

Have you managed to get any sleep yet or are you still whizzing around on a caffeine high? Love the pics and can see a few good 'shops coming soon heh heh Can't wait to see the rest :)

You know what? Gator just kept getting in front of mine and Dawn's cameras all day. You know how sneaky gators are.

Shop away my dear Jim....hee hee. Just leave me OUT of a dress from now on.

You are talking to someone who gets up way too early and hates it......lol. I don't think I will ever catch up on sleep. I am hoping Thunderhead will wear me out. ;-)

Oh you just *had* to rub it in about Thunderhead didn't you - grrrr ;)

Just wait for my TR featuring Tsunami... (yes, with a T ;))

Dollywood doesn't have a DDR machine but it looks like there are three within the area according to DDR Freak.....Laser Port (Solo 4th), Rockin Raceway(DDR Extreme), and Star Tracks (5th mix).....:-D

-Tina

yea, there are some HUGE arcades in the whole touristy/trashy pigeon forge strip. good ddr can be found in pigeon forge but not in dollywood.

but honestly the last 2 or 3 times i've been to dollywood i've been so addicted to backseat rides on the tennessee tornado i didn't even miss ddr. does anyone else tend to grey out during dolly's "iron butterfly" inversion?...lol

tina, you will be blown away. it's one of the best steel coasters i've ever been on. short but intense, powerful, and fun.

Count me in as one jealous SOB. :( I couldn't have come out anyway, but man.... it just sounds like you had a MOST excellent time! I'm happy for you! :)

Thanks for the great, lengthy, and descriptive TR, Tina! That's how you write 'em! ;)

Thanks Rob. I don't usually write em unless the trip just blows me away, like this one did. :-D

I am sure Thunderhead will be similiar to my Dragstergasm review 10 months ago......hee hee.

Johnathan, I look forward to the Tornado as well. The park is a whole new thing for me so I look forward to exploring. See you there bud!

But Tina... does Thunderhead come with AA batteries?

Rob-

how much lift are you gonna get with just AA?

Something tells me that the planets won't just be aligning this season - they'll be careening off of each other :)

Jim, I agree with you and raise you one D cell. ;)

You guys don't know anything. Batteries are way too weak .......I need enough power to black out a city. ;-)

Well, the system that powers The Hulk won't work, then. It only "browns out" the city. ;)

Hulk's launch is so timid the lights don't even go to "soft white"...the best launch in O-Town comes with Steven Tyler, and that's a trade-off IMO. I'm sure with *his* hair you and Tina would find the music on RnRC to be more of a BONUS, whereas for me it's the biggest drawback to the ride...;)

bill, TRYING for his first ThunderGasm at the Smoky Mountain Coasterstorm...wonder who's gonna e-mail me with an offer of air-fare for the trip...anyone? ;) *** Edited 4/1/2004 12:47:04 AM UTC by rollergator***

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

Steven Tyler...nevermind the hair, it's all about that mouth. ;)

cue music from Deliverance....

Considering Coasterstorm myself.......I may just have to buy a DW pass this Saturday. :-D

Steven Tyler? Na, he doesn't do it for me but I love Aerosmith. :-)

-Tina

*Speechless* - seriously. ;)
coasterqueenTRN's avatar
You Jim? SPEECHLESS? Now I am shocked. hee hee

-Tina

Trust me Tina, I'm shocked too - maybe it's the charge from all the batteries that I'm accumulating here :) It adds a whole new meaning to the term 'buzz bars' ;)
