SFoG Wishlist

Viper is now gone, and its removal has left me begging to know what will take its place. Here is what I hope for.

I think a FoF clone would be a really good addition to SFoG. The trains would have lapbars (of course!) As a plus, it would still remain in a building (like FoF) but have a different theme.  I have always thought that a good theme would be a Post-Apocolyptic, Nuclear Fallout type theme. Maybe the coaster could be named Ground Zero?

My other wish is a good Intamin Hyper. I would be happy with a S:ROS clone, but something new and creative would be awesome. Something to utilize the lake near the old Viper site.

What do you all want?

Millennium Force: The 8th Wonder of the World!

With all that is going on the world today, I think a coaster with a post-apocalyptic theme called Ground Zero would be just a little inappropriate.  Just my opinion.
I can understand how some would think it is unappriopate, but that was my ideal themeing before 9/11.

I'd like to see another wooden go up. They already have two different styles of good wood, each from two distinct eras of wood at that, so it's about time for a third.

A hyper, more flat rides, another B&M (floorless). If I'm not mistaking, SFOG is the only US SF park without a kiddie coaster.

p_c_r, I think they'd be better off returning Ga. Cyclone to it's original state than building another woodie.  I think a steel hyper is way more likely, but they DO have a "sorta-flexible" 200' height limit...

SFoG does not have a height limit.  I hope they get a hyper.
dude, offense, but even if it was your idea before 9/11...its still pretty messed up to be posting now.  Especially since the NY WTC remains is called Ground Zero. But yah a post-Apocolyptic would be cool, just a different name.

I was at sfog today and rode deja vu.awesome.scary as could be. The line was 2 hours and 30 minutes. Luckily we had lo q. But i asked 2 employees if there getting anything new next year. They both said yes. One of them said we would get a superman like the one at sfmm. Id rather have a bm flying.
You mean Superman: The Escape. They already have a ride similar to this.

I've got laser eyes, and I know what you're thinking. It comes to no surprise, the Christmas lights are blinking.
Whenever there is an explosion, the site it occured at is called ground zero.

And how is a Ground-Zero theme appropriate?

Even if 9/11 never occured, it would still be unapropriate.

Spelling and grammer does not need to be corrected if the message gets across!

Oh no, the Magnum is named after a gun!  Heaven forbid!  Geesh, calm down people...if we can't say "Ground Zero" without getting yelled at for being "inappropriate", we've already lost to the terrorists.  I personally like the name Ground Zero and I think the theme would be an interesting one at that- something unique.

Look throughout history, coasters have always been named after something that either strikes fear into you or reminds you of something powerful.  You don't come across a coaster named Pixie's Magical Flight, do you?
