SFoG trip this weekend

Hey everyone! Well, I decided at the beginning of the week to take Friday off and head down to Atlanta tonight. Planning on getting to the park when they open tomorrow and hoping that I don't get rained out. Just checked the forecast and it looks like rain and thunderstorms are likely all day tomorrow. It has been years since I've been to SFoG. I'm only a couple of hours away from SFKK so that is where I usually go. I do have a couple of questions if anyone can answer them...

1) My season pass I bought at SFKK will work at SFoG, right?
2) $10 a day to park....or $25 for a season pass. Since I'll be going Friday and Saturday I'll probably just pay an extra $5 and get the season parking pass. Can you buy these at the park, either at the parking entrace or can up "upgrade" your parking pass in the park, or is it best to get them at a local area grocery store? I don't want to pay $10 to park, then another $25 for the pass once I'm in the park.

Thanks for any help, advice, sugesstions, etc!
Tom

1) Your SFKK works at any SF park, so you'll be fine.

2) I'm not positive, so someone else may know better than I do, but I don't think the parking passes are accepted at other SF parks. I think a SFoG parking pass is only good at SFoG. At any rate, if you buy the parking pass, the day rate of $10 will be deducted from the cost.

chris is right, the parking passes are good only at the park you bought it at. I'm still pushing for a chain-wide parking pass for those of us with no real "home" park.....

bill, still amazed that SFoG calls their $10 parking a "value"...

To get your SFOG parking pass you must pay the $10.00 at the parking plaza gate, take your ticket inside to guest relations (inside the park, at the end of the entry plaza, on the left, towards the Ga Scorcher), and pay the additional $15.00 for the yearly sticker. The 6-Flags parking passes are only good at the park where they were purchased. Last year's sticker was a royal pain to get scraped off of the windshield of my truck. If you don't plan on coming back down to SFOG this year I would go with buying the daily tickets.

Thanks for the answers everyone! I'll probably just go ahead and buy the parking pass. Since I'll be there Friday and Saturday I'll have to pay $20 anyway...might as well fork over the extra $5. I'm only about 3.5 hours from Atlanta anyway so I'm sure I'll go again before the year is up. From everything I've been reading, SFoG is a better park than SFKK so it might be worth the extra hour and half drive to go to Atlanta. I'll find out this weekend...if it doesn't rain!

Thanks again for all of the help!
Tom

SFKK compared to SFoG....SFKK pleaseantly surprised me on this trip, but I feel safe saying SFoG is a WAAAAAAAY better park overall.....
