SFOG Pretzel Loop Pic

We had so much discussion in the "B&M parts at SFOG" thread about what the pretzel loop would actually look like that I figured this would be of interest:

Looks like Mamoosh knew what he was talking about all along.

Thanks for the link.  It's interesting that the article suggests an early opening date.

With all due respect to Jeff, sometimes people who know *do* tell.
Interesting how much it looks like a raven turn on X.
I tried to make a floorless version of Superman: Ultimate Flight by making the track upside- down
Should be fun.  Like doing a front flip on a trampoline or something.

Looks awsome and if I could fly I think more than once I would do soemthing like that.

Where has the magic gone in the name Disney?

Sweet.  That looks like a cool inversion and I think that's from a Georgia Tech paper!

Mamoosh, the "trick" is knowing the difference between what can and cannot be divulged.  Ruining a relationship with a good inside source is the last thing any of us would want to do...

Rollergator - I completely agree and I'm generally VERY careful with what I say *and* I always include the disclaimer that nothing is 100% until it comes from the park.  If I'm asked not to say anything I won't.  If I'm guessing or speculating I'll say so.
That element looks soooooooo disorienting. wow!

The pretzel element has already been constructed...you can barely see it through the trees as you drive by the park.  It's possible Bob Armstrong will provide more pictures in the next couple days.

Cool...on the news group RRC I predicted the pretzel loop would be finished by the end of this week!  Folks, this sucker could very well open with the park in March.
Take two raven turns and smush them together. B&M Creativity!
looks awsome

At the beginning of the new coaster season, you learn who to trust and who not to trust...  I've learned!

Rob A - so you only trust me at the beginning of the season?  LOL!
I'm surprised I was so dopey after lunch... should have worded that differently!

What I meant to say (in a rather incoherent way) was that, by the time the start of the new coaster season comes around and all of the new coasters have been announced, you see who was telling the truth and who was just talking to hear themselves talk.  Mamoosh called it when he said that a B&M flyer would indeed wind up in the states for 2002, and that it would be at a park "a few hundred miles north of IOA"... meanwhile, others were daydreaming about what they *wanted* to see at SFOG, hoping their dreams would come true.

Mamoosh... ahh, you know what I'm talking about!  Now I'll trust you throughout the entire season :)
