SFoG Opening Weekend Question

SFoG opens on March 26 this year. Will opening weekend be crowded? Would it be better to go saturday or sunday? I am a season pass holder and only live about 45 minutes from the park, but I've never been to SF on opening weekend.
If I was in your position I wouldnt care if it was crowded or not. If it opens on March 26 that is about 6 weeks before the SF by me opens. Just go and enjoy!!!!

Im going to grab a cold one! WHAT? Walk to my computer! WHAT? Turn the thing on! WHAT? Log on to Coasterbuzz! WHAT? I said log on to Coasterbuzz!! WHAT?WHAT?WHAT?

I'll be there at 9am to get my season pass processed, then there for most of the day.
Do you want to ride Deja Vu?

If yes, go on the 24th. I will be at the park on the 23rd, and Deja Vu will probably be closed if I'm there. It's happened not once, not twice, but thrice...

SFOG is more crowded opening weekend than other weekends in spring but is still much less crowded than summer weekends. I love spring weekends at SFOG because they are much less crowded than even some summer weekdays. I also like the fact that with a season pass there are plenty of opportunites to bring friends for free or at a great discount in April and May. The usual best day to go if you are going on a weekend is Sunday. I know I will be there early Sunday morning to get my season pass processed. I cant wait untill S:UF opens even though I have heard it probably will not be open before spring break at SFOG.
Last season, the cold weather kep tmost oepning day folks away, and there was a less than average crowd there. If you want to avoid lines but don't mind cold weather, look for weekends like that!
