SFoG-May 30, 2002

This was my 4th visit this year to SFoG.

The park was open from 10am to 6pm. My friend and I didnt arrive at the park until 1pm, but we have season passes so it's all good.

After entering the park we decided that our first ride of the day would be the Georgia Cyclone since it's the first ride we came to. This is my favorite ride in the park. I rode it as I entered the park and I rode it as I left the park. Both rides were walk-ons. The first ride was in the back seat, and the second ride was in the front seat. The back is the best. You never sit in your seat because of the air time.

Next we rode the sky buckets to the back of the park. The Deja Vu line was 2 hours so we skipped it and went on to Ninja. This was a walk-on and it's not a pleasant ride. It seems to get worse every time I ride it.

After Ninja we headed to GASM but it was closed and it remained closed the whole day. So we went to S:UF. This was my 6th trip on this coaster and it gets better every time I ride it. The que time was about an hour.

After S:UF we rode the Wheelie and then headed over to Gotham City. We rode the Batman twice b/c it was a walk-on and then we rode Mindbender. It was a walk-on aswell. Both of these coasters are great.

After Gotham City we rode the Georgia Scorcher. This is an awesome coaster. It also seems to get better every time I ride it.

After Scorcher we rode the log flume and then the Cycolone. Overall it was a good trip.

Good TR. Too bad Deja had too long a line. Im not surprised, even when that thing is open you cant get on without spending the whole day in line. The only time i would ever recommend waiting is if its your first time. Then its good. One thing i do have to say is ninja surprised me last friday when i rode. It was surprisingly smoother and i had my hands up the whole ride. I rode in the back seat, which is where i always ride, but on the hill i suddenly had the urge to put my hands up, and well, for some reason it was a much smoother ride.

I will be comming all the way from Texas on June 9th to visit SFoG. I will spend one day at the park during my flight layover on my way to Ohio. I don't know if you will be there that day, but if you are just look for a tall dark haired guy with a mustache. I will be wearing my Titan T-shirt from SFoT.

I would love to meet up with another Costerbuzzer.

Dueling... I afree with you. The back is the only place I'll ride the Ninja. It's actually not a bad ride back there. Just avoid the front like the plague and it's all good.

DAN-EL, I would definitely be there and hang out with ya, but I guess it's just bad luck that the day you're gonna be swinging through my home park is the day of CoasterBuzzCon. My butt's gonna be in Cincy!

Wow! I was at SFoG on the 30th as well! I was wearing a blue Millennium Force shirt...in case you saw me :)
