I'm sure everyone has heard about all the minute details about the park so I'm just going to talk about some things I noticed.
-The Six Flags used at the front gate are three Ohio flags and three American flags.
-The Front Plazza looks much better with the the new shops closing in the plazza more.
-S;UE is an amazing ride in the front seat and good in the middle, but capacity is a HUGE problem, they were launching trains every 3 min. It took almost 20 min. to get on even when the line only had 10 people in front of me. One of the problems is the electric eye that detects things on the platform so that if someone puts there bag down the ride can't move and the ops have to move it. Add to this confusion about the seat bealts and many "large" people trying to get into the seats and a slow moving crew and you have a capacity diaster. Hopefully this will improve with time.
-BKF was themed beter then I thought it would be but the ride is just ok. It is very smooth but there are not alot of forces (I did only get one ride in the middle so maybe it's better in different parts of the train) personally I like Medusa East much better.
-The Villian truely is a great ride, it's got air, laterals speed, trick track everything a good woodie should have, not my #1 but close.
-I am sad to say that the Big Dipper is no longer an Ace classic coaster becuase of the headrests that were added during the off season, I guess this is better then new trains but still.
-Boomtown looks very nice and it sunk down so it is seperate from the rest of the park. The slide comlex is coming along quickly and looks like fun.
-Raging Wolf Bobs and Double loop were closed but testing.
-Batman Stunt show is going to open in June.
-Hurricane Harbor looks nice and should be done in time.
-Food Service is in trouble, only a handful of stands were open and most were out of stock.
-All in all I was not very impressed, it seemed just like good old Geauga Lake 椀琀栀 愀 渀攀眀 爀椀搀攀 漀爀 琀眀漀 ⠀漀爀 昀漀甀爀⤀Ⰰ 洀愀礀戀攀 眀栀攀渀 琀栀攀 眀栀漀氀攀 瀀愀爀欀 椀猀 漀瀀攀渀 ⠀吀栀攀 眀愀琀攀爀瀀愀爀欀 洀椀搀眀愀礀 愀渀搀 琀栀攀 愀爀攀愀 戀礀 刀愀最椀渀最 圀漀氀昀 䈀戀猀 眀愀猀 挀氀漀猀攀搀⤀ 琀栀愀琀 椀琀 眀椀氀氀 昀攀攀氀 搀椀昀昀爀攀渀琀⸀㰀戀爀㸀
Ok here is my report for opening day. After they opened up about 15 minutes after 5 me and my friend ran back to Batman their new floorless coaster. I thought that that would be the best one to ride first. We were on about the 6th train out of the station. Could of been the 1st but i wanted front seat. The first hill was pretty good but looking at the ride overall it just was not all that good. I felt no airtime no real thrills. It was fast. A good B&M ride but nothing compared to Raptor, and Mantis. I think they should have made it a standup. It may be the fact that I might not like floorless coasters all that much. That was the first floorless I have ever been on. It is jam packed in a tiny area too. And I did ride it in the front and back and really felt no difference between the two. People's expressions for this ride were really not smiles and rip roaring cheers. An Ok ride. But nothing big in my book anyway. So we then went on Villian. WOW!!!!!! that is the best new ride they have, better than mean streak and better than Gemini. Very fast at 60 MPH and lots and lots of airtime. There is just a lap bar that comes down no seat belt. And I wore mine loose for the Airtime. But that is a awesome coaster from CCI. Air at the top of every hill fast it really doesn't let up anywhere. I rode in the very back. And peoples expressions coming back were all smiles and cheers as was mine. Then we rode the last of their new rides Superman. WOW another great ride. fast fun alot of thrills Similiar to PT effect on you at CP but better I think. I just wish you got to ride it longer as it is so fun. And I rode their boomerang for the first time that was a good ride the others were average. So as far as a top 3 list of their new coasters it would go like this. #3: Batman #2 Superman #1 Villian.
But I think they needed to make their staions bigger to but they really didn't have much room. Next Stop CP. See you at the point!!
