SFO 4/29/00

Associated parks:
None

I went to get my season pass at SFO today and just had a few observations.
-The season pass center is very efficent and I was in and out in under 5 min. with a couple people in fron of me.
-I picked up a park map and there are many errors, like colors of rides are wrong (ex. S:UE was blue and yellow, Double Loop was black etc.) and many of the numbers on the map are wrong so what the ride is and what the key says it is are two diffrent things.
-Mr. Hyde's Nasty Fall has been repainted Purple and Green (ala Jokers' Jink)
-Six flag poles have been erected at the front gate.
-The bricks in the front gate now spell out Six Flags.
-Workers were installing a metal sheet around the base of the curvy tower on S:UE. This is hard to explain but essentialy they were enclosing the bottom of the tower (problay so if your shoe comes flying off as you make the turn your shoe does not going flying at people in the front gate).
-Boomtown parts are still out in the parking lot.
-The Villian looks amazing.
If you have any questions ask them and I'll see if I can answer them.
Hey JeremyG, How did the Batman Knight Flight look in your own view? Do you know or if the Batman is gonna have any theming in the queue like the one in Gurnee, Ill.?
It's hard to tell it is set back in the park so you can't see the station. I'm under the impresion it will not have themeing like B:TR does. It should be very similar to Superman Krypton Coaster in that the trains themselves will be themed (with the bat-logo's engraved on the seats), and little bat logos in the line with maybe a big batman figure in the line. Little stuff but don't expect B:TR quality.
jeremy, i am going to get my passes validated(already have the vouchers) on maybe sunday. do you go to the front gate or those offices behind grizzly run?
Front gate, but you do understand that the park opens on Friday right?
