SFNO announces Expanded Concert Series

Moosh,

To some locals it just dosn't do anything to say we got X number of coasters last year.

I guess to some locals here, that 23 mil or whatever expansion was just ONE thing in 03. Also seems no one counts sponge bob in 04 as an addition since it replaced the previous sim show.

Sponge bob is WAYYY better than that other sim show!

Im just saying though.

Like i don't want to argue about it or anything. LOL

What we do or don't get in 05 is it. Then there will be 06 to look forward to.

That's what you say ;) I'd rather find a "simple golden tea bowl" than a lost pickle. I still want to know how he, a helpless drift in the South China sea, becomes the hero of the Battle of New Orleans, but oh well whatever. "Let the wind fill your sails..."

After all this discussion is over still one answer remains unanswered??? What did SFNO do or didn't do to get the proposed expansions pulled at the last minute.... As Far as Spongebob, That is just a change of film with different twist and bumps ,, I wouldn't class it as a ride change but maybe an enhancement and it was only done to pull in the younger generation that was not grabbed by the earlier sim film..They did not even spend the money to change the area where you wait in line ( still had pirate memorabelia on the walls)They just hoisted a sign over the old sign and didn't even change the website until mid season to let every body know of the change..It was done hap hazardly and at very little expense,,Maybe at least we can change the Jester to run forward and then have the cars line up with the entry gates like they should,,That would be a cheap fix for the park like spongebob was.. These changes would be to simple !!!! Oh and last but not least get rid of the arrogant (I don't want to work here attitude ) Ride operators..This park has way too many friends and relatives working there..Cut the family loose SFNO

YMMV to Quote Moosh

What i mean by better is the motion with the film. All i remember was rocking back and fourth and a few jolts here and there.I was so unimpressed i never went on again. With sponge bob there are quite a few different effects such as speeding up,slowing down, falling, shaking ect. I sit on a back corner and am throw up off my seat. Just find it more fun.

As far as getting expansion pulled, I never really saw or heard that it was set. What i always heard was that water park was being planned, or in planning. Possibly thats why i don't feel dissapointed cause i never thought at any time that we were suppose to for sure get anything in 05.therefore i am not dissapointed.

Did anyone actually report or write that we would get W.P. 05? I mean like news or paper report?

SFNO may be on an every other year,or a two year schedule for major new attractions so there's no need to feel bad that there's nothing coming in 05,it just opens the door to the possibility of something big & great coming in 06 that's all.

The proposed waterpark takes time to plan & construct & isn't gonna just come out of nowhere overnight....SFGRAM probably spent a couple of years on the design phase for their new waterpark alone prior to the final green light being given for the actual construction to begin & it could be worse as you could be stuck with SFAW or SFDL as your homepark as they rarely recieve any new rides & usually when they do it's nothing to brag about.

Instead of adding a new ride SFNO could use their share of the cap ex budget to take care of the rides they have now & by doing so that some of the changes you mentioned could very well be implemented.
