SFNE's coaster's decision post-poned

P>n the Springfield Union News, Six Flags announced that the decision for their new roller coaster would be post poned till September 13th because of the whole Superman: Ride of Steel incident and for the safety of guests. Park manager Timothy Black announced that the coaster would be made by B&M, which most people already guesed. t wasn't made sure what kind of roller coaster it was, however, Black said that "..it is identical to rides used in at least four other Six Flags parks."/P>

The coaster is going to be a floorless.

Black said that "it is identical to rides used in at least four other Six Flags parks."

Four floorless coasters at Six Flags Parks:
Medusa - Six Flags Great Adventure
Medusa - Six Flags Marine World
Batman: Knight Flight - Six Flags Worlds of Adventure
Superman Krypton Coaster - Six Flags Fiesta Texas

-------------
Don't Fight It: Ride It! Raging Bull

If he truly meant to say identical, it would not be a floorless since those 4 coasters are built to 3 different designs.  However, there are 6 essentially identical Batman the Ride inverts.
Don't count out a stand-up, though:

5 stand-ups from Six Flags:

Iron Wolf - SFGAm
Chang - SFKK
Riddler's Revenge - SFMM
Georgia Scorcher - SFoG

Also, Batman: The Escape from Intamin/Giovanola

I'm still thinking it's a Stand-Up.

Its definatly a stand up because SFNE is getting the one that SFA was going to get last season but changed there minds and went with Vekoma it is definaly a stand up.
Since when can a stand up do a zero gravity, heartline barrel row? Use your brain. It's a floorless.

I still think from my originall opinion that its a Stand-Up.  Identicall to 4 other Six Flags parks could be Floorless or Standup so my bet is on Standup.

Turn of the century, how do you know that it has a zero-g roll?
Coastaluva & Turnofthecentury:

How do you know that today's layout possibilities cannot perform  a Zero-G barrel roll on a stand-up? After a little R&D at B&M, they COULD come up with some different elements not thought of in stand-ups.

Then again, he did say "identical in 4 other Six Flags parks"... so that may just counteract what I just said. Either way, it looks like SFNE is going to be getting a clone instead of an original.

Identical? Doesn,t that mean a clone? There are no types of rides with four clones except BTR which i dont think they will get because they already have an invert.

Turnofthecentury, 7-Up Shockwave at Drayton Manor has a zero-g roll, and that's a stand-up.  It is possible.
