SFNE will be open in November for 2002!

I was checking the SFNE Official website, and the calendar shows the park will open April 20 and close November 3! The park will also be open on Halloween, which will be on a weekday-which is a first.  So it looks like SFNE fans will have an extra weekend to soak in all the thrills, and I somehow get the feeling this is from the new GM of the park, Joe Meck.
This is great news!
Does anyone know why the park is closed Sunday May 19'th?
sme thing happned last year...dont know

Sounds great!  Nothing like riding Superman with 10mph freezing winds in your face.

The new brochure says November 30th.  site must have a typo.
Or the brochure does. Imagine being at a park at the END of November, in New England!

Where's my snowboarding gear?

Speaking of SFNE, they haven't given out an announcement date for the floorless have they? I thought I heard that it was coming up soon, but I'm not sure.
Vertigo, how did you get a brochure for 2002 already??

Yeah, how did you get a 2002 Brochure? I heard on CoasterForum that the announcement was slated for Feb. 6. Man, Nov. 3; it's even cold in mid-Oct. nevermind Nov. I've ridden Superman in 34* weather with snow. It is defineatly not fun. My eyes were all teary from the cold wind in my face. But, I have ended that ride teary eyed on a hot summer day also.;)

Good News.  With the weather we had this year SFNE could have opened in December.
