SFNE Troubles

Associated parks:
None

Went to SFNE yesterday (Thurs 8-15), and had a zillion problems getting to ride the coasters. Although I'm not a huge coaster fan (strictly wooden ones for me!). my friends are, and they had problems yesterday. First, they headed straight for Batman. And they were having problems with the gates, and said to come back in a half hour. So, after a few flat rides (tea cups, tomahawk, houdini), and a ride on Flashback, we went to the waterpark. The weather was miserably hot, so we chilled in the lazy river for two hours. We left the waterpark at six, and returned to Batman, which was now running fine. Two of my friends said it was great, and very smooth, the other thought it was kinda bumpy and rough. Then we headed towards the Cyclone, but sure enough, that was having problems as well, and had to be closed. So, then we were off to the Thunderbolt which, surprise surprise was experiencing "technical difficulties" and we couldn't ride it. Blah. My friends passed on Superman cuz of the long lines, plus they'd ridden it several times before. So, we went home. Rides would be functioning just fine, until we tried to ride them. It was frustrating. So basically I spent a fortune on admission to ride the teacups, houdini, and the lazy river. But I managed to have fun anyway.

Well if you wanted to ride the coasters you probably shouldn't have stayed in the lazy river for two hours.

Track Record: 142 and counting.....

Thats a good point PatMan, you should of kept checking the coasters, and if you were got, take a spin on shipwreck falls.

Im the #1 Canobie Lake Park Fan!!!These are my top 3 coasters:
1. S:RoS @ SFNE 2. Yankee Cannonball 3. Cyclone/B:TDK

I didn't mean to sound like I was complaining. I just know that you tend to share things like "technical difficulties" here, and I was surprised to encounter so many in one day. I almost found it funny. I understand that I could've tried much harder. I just had never heard of both wooden coasters to be down at the same time, and thought I'd share this peculiarity. Sorry if it sounded differently.
