SFNE to Fill Track of New B&M w/ sand?

Do you think that SFNE will have B&M fill the track with sand like Talon so it won't roar because of the neighboring houses?
More than likely I'd say yes especially like you said its near houses. Ones that roar are usually in the middle of parks or a park is far away from houses.

I had no idea Talon had sand in it, but then again that would explain the funky goggle stand at the entrance. :)

Does it really? Makes sense when I think about it, but I have never seen this done before. Wow.

Good question!  If I had to guess, I would say yes because the park is trying at maintain good relations with the local citizens.  I know for a fact that they will take it slow with the construction so that the neighbors aren't bothered by noisy machinery, and trucks driving by constantly.

Actually when I rode Talon opening day there was alot of sand laying around all scattered and I knew the supports were filled with it but I got confused because I thought they did that in the factory but I guess not.
Filling it with sand at the factory would make it much more expensive to ship and assemble. Filling it with sand from a local source takes a dump truck.
California Screamin' has sand-filled tracks as well. The tunnels would have already given the noise reduction prevention away if not for the eerily quiet no-roar Intamin it is.
