SFNE "Stragety Guide"

My school is taking a trip up to SFNE on Monday June 24. I know the park will be very crowded but it costs $48 for me to go and that includes transportation and a buffet @ SFNE. What rides should i hit early? Im going to go to Superman first, than Batman, Then Flashback (because its low capacity) and then Scream (also low capacity). What rides should i go on after that, BTW im not going to go to the waterpark. And does anyone have any information on this Buffet they speak of? And what are the web sites with SFNE pics, general info, and rides etc. Thanks for your help!

Super should have it's second train by then.

Best way to get info: sixflags.com

Strategy is much like other parks. It'll be a light day (mon.) but schools will be out, so we'll go with the "medium crowds" strategy.

In general, keep in mind that lines will build for S:RoS and B:DK through the morning and stay long all day. Lines for Flashback, Cyclone, Mind Eraser, Thunderbolt will be short early and late, but long during mid day.

So, since you'll be there right at opening, start with the first rule of park strategy:
START AT THE BACK OF THE PARK

The second rule:
START AT THE BACK OF THE PARK

You wouldn't believe how many people end up in line for scream and thunderbolt while S:RoS is a walk on.

So, first hit S:RoS until the line starts to build. If you're there right at opening and you're fortunate enough to have the second train right from the get go, this will give you five or six laps in 45 min. Then, it's on to B:DK. It's new, but it's far enough from the gate to the park, that it'll still be pretty sparse. Take a couple laps. On your way back towards the main park, take lap on Mind Eraser and MAKE SURE to lean really far forward, or your ears will burn for the rest of the day. If the wait is more than 20 mins. save it for near the end. Take a spin on Poison Ivy (should be a walk on still) if you want.
Do the same as EarEraser, for Scream, Flashback, and Cyclone (if wait > 20, save it for end of day). The lines for these should be short because
of lunch. Definitely save the Thunderbolt for the end, when everyone has realized that it stinks.

So once you've hit everything, you'll realize that you already miss S:RoS and spend the rest of the day there, catching rides at the end of the day on the smaller coasters that you didn't hit earlier.

Since it's going to be a medium or light day, there is no reason to wait more than 20 minutes for anything other than S:RoS B:DK or maybe scream. When I went to MM, i waited an hr. each for ninja, psyclone, colossus, viper, and revolution which were all COMPLETELY walk ons at closing. Boy did I feel dumb.

So good luck and hope you enjoy S:RoS. It's a winner.

Just want to let you know that it will be crowded if thats like a scheduled day by your school as like an end of the year outing. SFNE schedules days where they have everybody come from what seems like all of Mass.

do you know whats funny? I went to sfne last august and I didn't get to ride either of their 2 great steels (because S:ROS crashed and BDK wasn't built yet!) Sucks to be me!
I go to SFNE alot during the summer and monday and tuesdays are the best days to go. Alot of people go into the waterpark when it opens at 11am so the lines will be short on everything. B&MRULES!!!!!!!!
Nope, doesn't matter where you're from, they schedule their groups on the same days so they have moderate days and outrageous days.

K, well, definitely hit SRoS first, as it 0wnz all. Take a couple laps, then go to BDK. Ride it while there's a short line. If you want to, rent a Q-bot (if they're working yet, I dunno), and reserve rides on Superman while 1/4 in line for it, then do the same for batman, so you get basically double rides :-D Don't waste your time on Flashback if you've been on other boomerangs. I'd recommend hitting Cyclone, Scream, and Thunderbolt though, but make sure you ride TBolt in the back, there is actually a little airtime. June 24th, should be packed, as most schools around there are out. Sorry about that. I'd be prepared for big lines, and if they're small, then it's sweet, but they'll probably be big.

Why ride rough coasters when you can ride smooth ones?
1.Medusa-SFGAdv 1.Batman:The Chiller 1.Mo

Hit Scream! directly after B:DK because of low capacity and high crowdness and its kick-assness.
