Does anybody know if SFNE's attendance went up at all this season? With B: TDK going up I would think it would. Does anybody know the % it went up (or down)?
-----------------
TOP 5
1. Alpengeist, 2. Magnum XL-200, 3. Superman: Ride of Steel (SFNE), 4. Nitro, 5. Volcano: The Blast Coaster
Close Calls 1. Apollo's Chariot, 2. Grizzly (PKD), 3. Medusa (SFGAdv)
I think the attendence went down. When I went there the park was practically empty.

S:RoS ( SFNE ) rules!
Every SF I have been to this year is empty, even on the "busy" days.

Well that's too bad,I was sure that with the addition of B:TDK that attendance would've increased.
If their attendance is falling then it looks like they're out of the running for a new ride in 03.
It takes a lot more than a new ride to drive up attendance records,it also takes good customer service and relations as well as cleanliness & efficiency to keep guests happy while at the park, when will SF realize thst this is what matters to us the guests?

Im the #1 Canobie Lake Park Fan!!!These are my top 3 coasters:
1. S:RoS @ SFNE 2. Yankee Cannonball 3. Cyclone/B:TDK
I was there last Tuesday during the heatwave. The waterpark was crowded, the rest of the park was pretty dead. Except, of course for SROSm still nearly two hours even with both trains running. I bought a Lo-Q for the first time and got 3 SROS rides in. Batman was 10 mins max, as was most other rides.
The problem with SFNE is that it is still a dump! Yes, it is my home park so I can say that. It needs major rehab, better food, and much better quality workers. Everyone I talk to who aren't generally coaster buffs, but go to parks casually say they hate it there. I wouldn't even go there (its an hour drive from my home) except for SROS.
I also thought that SFWOA was just like SFNE only bigger. I went to SFGAdv earlier this year and was surprised how downhill it went. It's gotta be all of the Six Flags parks at this point. Sure, they have great coasters for us, the die hard riders, but for the GP they want an overall better experience.
I'll let you know how SFMM is when I go in October!
oh, and as for the topic - i've had two visits to SFNE that were practically empty.
