SFNE, LC and La Ronde help

I will be enjoying a 3 day trip to the mentioned parks in a week or so.

My questions are to the locals. Do you guys know of any places close by that I can get discount tickets. I saved BIGGG time going to Burger King before I went to Dorney and got tickets for like 23.
Especially Lake Compounce. On their website it says its 32.95!!!!!! a ticket.

Also as of now, is superman fully operational, and two trains running? I know its still a ways away but...

anyways thanks for any help you can give

Please somebody aswer his superman question before he calls and asks those horrible phone ladies who will only convince you that more then one train can't possibly run at the same time, ;).
There was another thread about LC discounts and they mentioned AAA offers $8 off of admission. Also I heard on other sites/reviews that Dunkin' Doughnuts and "Stop N Shop" offer discounts (but Im not familiar with the area I just read those somewhere else) *** Edited 6/29/2006 12:46:54 AM UTC by P18***
La Ronde has raised its gate price significantly in the last year. It's now at $36.04 plus tax (~15% before July 1, ~14% after July 1).

Jean Coutu (a drug-store chain) sells tickets, but I'm not sure about the discount rate.

CAA-Quebec (AAA parnter) sells tickets at $28.14 taxes included. Here's a link to CAA-Quebec locations: http://www.caaquebec.com/Accueil/NousJoindre/CentreServiceList.htm

As well, Costco usually sells discount tickets, but only in Quebec.

Note: While most La Ronde staff are bilingual, do not expect the same at other locations. In general, 2/3 of Quebecers speak English. If you know a bit of high school French, you should be fine. *** Edited 6/29/2006 3:19:05 PM UTC by greatwhitenorth***

CAA-Quebec will only sell its discount tickets to CAA-Quebec members... Do you have a SF season pass? It works at La Ronde.
I will probably just buy a Six Flags pass judging by the responses.

I'm not a CAA member or an AAA member so you can rule out those ideas.

But I will have to look into the Dunkin doughnuts idea.

THe best thing we found for la ronde was a $3.00 off coupon at one of the nearbye tourist information places in a little attraction booklet thing.

They used to have a large $$$ amount off on the website [last year when i went], but when we went earlier this season it was only for season passes. Chek the promotions section of the website, i'm too lazy to look at the moment :-P

I think for SFNE you can get coupons at Wendy's and off Coke cans.

SFNE Central- Online Six Flags New England Resource

$10.00 of at Six Flags NE if you buy the ticket online, it's something.

Six Flags New England season passes are $74.99 (less if you buy four) which is pretty good. They are $70.00 at The Great Escape which you might pass driving to or from La Ronde. They are $80.00 at La Ronde if you buy online.

Is that LaRonde season pass price $80 Cdn. or $80 US?

Eight dollar off discount tickets are available for Lake Compounce at AAA offices around the Hartford area. There is one just just off I-84 one exit north of Lake Compounce. The discount is only available at a AAA office and not at the park entrance with a AAA card.
