Superman is great in the front too, heck anywhere.
Batman is also good anywhere, but I prefer back instead of front, but give different rides. Cyclone is good, and this year it seems the roughness adds to the element of fun.
When you get into the park, head for Superman, the lines are pretty deadly in the afternoon (last time i went were 2 1/2 hours at noon). It might not be operating yet, so I would say head back up to Scream, because that always has a long line. Then play it from there.

Im the #1 Canobie Lake Park Fan!!!These are my top 3 coasters:
1. S:RoS @ SFNE 2. Yankee Cannonball 3. Cyclone
Wow. 20 minutes for front is SHORT. I've waited up to an extra hr. for front, but it's definitely worth it. 10 or so trains is a long wait, and 6 or 7 is decent. I usually go if it's 7 extra trains, because with single train op, that's about 30 min. (But it's my home park, so I know I can be back another time. It's definitely the best seat by far.)
What I do recommend, however, is getting to the park 15-20 minutes before opening and making sure that you're at the very front of the line for S:RoS before it opens. Then you don't have to wait at all.

A rollercoaster? What's that?
PS: I agree with Mir - Buzzsaw is a must ride flat ride that no one else has. And do ride the Thunderbolt if you have a second. It's a much overlooked airtime machine.

That is true, but for more time in the park, use the second row unless you feel like waiting for that seat.
There are some awesome flats at this park. Nightwing, Tomahawk, Time Warp, Chaos, Buzzsaw, Double Trouble, Twister, just to name the best.
