SFNE Cyclone sign?

The Cyclone coaster at SFNE was once voted Americas scariest coaster. They had a sign outside the entance warning the rider. Why did Six Flags take it down? What gave them the right??
What gave them the right? Well, they OWN it, and perhaps they didn't want to scare patrons off. What more "right" do they need?

Also, PLEASE use more descriptive titles than "Question", such as perhaps the new title...

They own it and they pay insurance/maintenance cost so my guess was they wanted to take it down.
It would get riders who havent rode it more excited. *** This post was edited by sfne guy on 7/23/2001. ***
whats wrong with question??
I liked seeing it there. it gave outsiders a scare.
Also, it would be great if you could edit your posts and add the things you forgot in the last. You could have put "whats wrong with question?" and "I liked seeing it there..." in the "it would get.." post. Which reminds me that capitalization would be nice too.

I'm not being mean. I just want to help you out so you're not kicked off, because of something small like that. Thanks!

About the sign, they do have a right to take it down and it would be interesting if it was still up, but since it probobly recieved the title such a long time ago, I guess it didn't matter much to leave it up.

Your titles should give the readers SOME clue as to what the post is about, to give them some idea of what they'd be reading. "Question" doesn't accomplish this.

so they click and find out! WOOO that was hard!!!
Here's a little dose of the FAQ, oh yeah!

10. Topic titles
Please think about the title you use when you start a new topic. Topics like "What if..." or "What do you think..." or titles composed only of a coaster or park name don't tell us much about what you want to talk about. Please use short but descriptive topics. Give people a reason to read them.

Maybe you're missing the point.

A non-descriptive title isn't very useful in helping people find things they're interested in. With dozens (perhaps a hundred) new topics every day, people don't have time to read every thread. If they do, they should consider getting a hobby or a job.
