I know they were going today to give more information on the new coaster, has anyone learned anything new on the coaster? Anything official, like if it definately is a floorless?

sfne guys mouth starts 2 water. I wish they would get a Mr. Freeze.
From What I've heard SFA may recieve a Mr.Freeze stand-up for 02.Maybe SFNE may recieve the same ride as well.Seeing how SF parks tend to build clones.
Did the meeting get postponed due to the tragic events that took place on Tuesday?
I don't know it's supposed to be tonight. I'm guessing we'll hear about it if it happened very very soon hopefully.

I hate how SF clones rides, I wish they woul put something with a new new name in SFNE. Maybe a wooden one since they don't tend to clone them and seeing one SFNE would be nice. Maybe a CCI steel-structured or a wooden coaster with a loop that won't break your back everytime you ride it.

Big news! I just got the info that the coaster is indeed improved for 2002! SFNE is getting a rollercoaster! Yay! Anyway, the board voted unanimously for the coaster and were VERY impressed by SFNE's proposal for a sound wall and the safety procedures of the roller coaster. Which was determined to be 100% Intamin's fault. Anyway, I'm sure Ray W knows more about the news but I am getting this info indirectly from him. ----------------- sigh, SFNE goes "tiny" for 2001
Too bad they already have a SLC this could be an Inverted coaster. I just hope that they decide to remove the parking lot. I dispise anyone that doesn't do this it just makes the ride look tacky. ----------------- BMCOASTER

Just one thought one what it could be, after the dip in the beginning there seems to be a turn not a twisting drop. The turn sound like Mantis.
