After seeing it pour rain/snow/ice all morning, I was very bummed about going to SFNE. I went out on a limb and decided to try it. Got to the park at 3:30pm and it was overcast and chilly. The place was a 4 (0-10 scale) on crowds, due to the schools there. After strolling down to S:RoS first, I laid my eyes on the long awaited BRAND NEW TRAIN!!!! That's right folks!!! Superman will be running 2 trains very soon-one, maybe two weeks from today. I asked an employee and she said they hoep to have it operational for Memorial Day weekend. As of now, the train is 8 cars (like SFA and SFDL), and one more car has to be added. It sure looks nice! After waiting 45 minutes for S:RoS and B-TDK, we strolled around the park for some grub and to check out the flats. Most were closed due to employee shortages (I assume they were told not to come in due to the weather). We get back in a VERY small line for S:RoS and wait a mere 20 minutes this time. The sun then popped out w/ blue skies and the whole station cheered and clapped!! It was a bit chilly, but besides that, a great day. Didn't ride tons, today was mostly a prized-coaster riding day for me, we concentrated on B-TDK and SROS. After 6:00, we found B-TDK with a very small line-same with S:RoS (20 mintes or so). HERE'S THE BEATY PART BABY!: We rode S:RoS (again! walk-on this time) and decided to lay off due to the cold temps. and 77+ mph speeds (but that ride never gets boring!). We headed over to Batman, ONCE AGAIN! and found it to be a WALK-ON!!! That's right, the brand new B&M Floorless, walk-on! We rode it over and over from 8:15-9:00 and could've ridden all night (except for our freezing hands and fingers!). All in all, it was a great coaster day. The place was dead! Didnt get to ride a vast array, but who cares!? 7 S:RoS rides, and 11 B-TDK rides. What's for tomorrow?? LAKE COMPOUNCE!! See y'all there!
