My eighth grade school team went to SFNE for Physics Day. At first, I expected a miserable day due to it being a Friday. We get there around 9 and get right into the park. We get this large packet and we have to do 8 ride sheets. That was done scattered through the day, including some copying so I could ride a little more.
First it's off to the running to SROS. We get there and two of the 5 friends I was hanging out with chickened out. I met up with some other friends and we hopped in line. 35 minute wait, started in the station. The second train is on the track. I took a spin on SROS with a first timer, and scared the crap out of him by saying that it was a vertical drop and a million times scarier than Steel Force (which we've both been on). While he's wetting his pants on the first drop, I'm enjoying a hands-up ride. Extreme airtime today, running very well. We get off, and it has seemed that the chickens ran off with our physics packets. So we go looking for them, and we find them over by Mind Eraser just sitting there. We grab them and head over to Batman. It's a fifteen minute wait, and we get the front seat (I got far right). Man, this was running wicked today (much better than when I went two weeks ago. Very intenense, and I actually felt the inversions. Great run. We then head over to Scream to do some packet work and check in. We headed back over to Batman again and took a spin on it, this time second row (far right). It ran even better, and I wish i was in the front on that one. We then had lunch, I had a very expensive Uno individual pizza. After that I insisted that we ride Scream. Only 3 out of 7 (including me) wanted to go on it. It was a 40 minute wait for my first ride on Scream. Our tower was in double shot mode. This was a great ride, definitely the highlight of my day. We then had 20 minutes left so we headed over to Flashback and Cyclone and saw they had very long lines, so we took a ride on Time Warp. First time on that one, and I loved it. We left at 1 in time to get back before school dismissal.
Next trip to SFNE is 5/29 for a magazine drive reward. I'll probably be with SFNE Freak. I hope it will be as good as this trip, and it will be a Wednesday...
