SFMW has Fastlane now

I just got back from the park, the signs are EVERYWHERE. Basically they say something like "no lines for $9.99" and point you to Guest Relations. I didn't bother asking because it irritated me, but I assume you get 4 or 5 front-of-the-line passes. The park wasn't very crowded so I didn't see anyone using them, but all the coasters had Fastlane Entrance signs on their exits. It is also good for Tazmanian Devil and the shoot-the-chutes ride.

On another note, V2 still isn't stopping on the reverse hill and both Roar and Boomerang were down today.

$9.99? That's not fair! Disney and IOA offer it for free!

Please don't go to SFA! Let me go once before it is ruined!!!!

When did the fastlane come to SFMW. I was there 6/30/01 and there were no signs saying about the fastlane. When did "they" start using the fastlane?

I WILL not return to the park until they scrap this "fast lane" garbage. Nor will I attend any other SF parks that feature this thing.

Why is everyone crying about Fastlane? If you don't like it, don't pay for it. Six Flags is not going to dump this system just because people are crying about having people legally line jumping. They are going to mke too much money off of this to stop using it. Six Flags needs all the money it can get right now.
DWeaver, if your not going to return to any Six Flags park that have Fastlane, that just makes te lines shorter for me and everyone else.
Yeah, but you'll still have people cutting in front of you, so the lines WILL NOT BE ANY SHORTER.

they are having major problems at SFMW trying to get used to the system. At first they would offer whole trains to FastLane ticket holders, which slowed down the normal lines to a crawl. Now they seem to use just a few seats in the middle, which makes most people happy. It still pisses off so many average guests that I hope they will get rid of it of make it free like Disney's. I thought there were going to be fights between irritated parents and ROs a number of times!

Oh, I think they started using it around July 15th... it wasn't there on the 4th but it was there on the 20th...
