SFMW 2003 off to a great start

I went to the SFMW Season Pass Holder Preview Day yesterday and all I can say is WOW! The park has had some major improvments. One of Roar's trains went through extensive rehab (the other one is still being worked on) and logos have been added to the front again. Boomerang got a new logo put on the front of it as well. New landscaping has been done to most all the places lacking, as well as many new fences being added. It looks much much much nicer. Around where Zonga is being build the landscaping is top notch. Everything was running very smooth, more so than last year, and there are many new park ops who are very efficiant.

Put sfmw down in your places to go in 2003 because it is really looking to be an incredible season.

Why not write a trip report to let us all know more in detail about the park? :) Have a nice day.

Favorite Steel: Millennium Force at Cedar Point

Yeah, a full trip report would be awesome. I might get to go there on my trip west in a couple of weeks, and I would love to hear all of the details of your visit. Were all the rides operating other than Zonga? Do they still have the butterfly house from years ago?
Great news! I'm looking forward to my trip in early April.

Yes! And riding Roar in the rain was AWESOME!!! The rainsoaked track made it seemingly go out of control, even moreso than usual. We stayed until the very end, and they even let us stay in the seats for rerides, something they never do. I'm glad they got rid of the long queue as well. Too bad they closed Medusa down though, and V2 was behind schedule for maintenance.

The only thing that really sucked was waiting 1 1/2 hours to get our season pass photos. =(
