Oh yeah, ZONGA, the one I posted about weeks ago ;)
But once again, it was shot down by CB'ers as "nothing more than false rumors"
About as bad as Zinga eh? (Turn sarcasm off) Whats wrong with the name? at least it's not Batmans Escape from Supermans Ultimate Adventure.
Looks like it's getting a new paint job.

Coming in 2003-The Spawn Of Magnum!

Seriously, Magnum Force. I think that SFMW is one of the best Six Flags parks out there. It really is a cool park with an excellent selection of rides. Zonga will only make that selection even better!
Responding to what Magnum Force said, I think it is awesome that the park has no Batman or Superman rides. Nothing wrong with those names, but the originality really gives the park its own distinct flavor.
I can't wait to go up North and ride this one!

I, am nobody, and nobody is perfect!
Antuan: I never said that the rides are absolutely original. I said the park as a whole is original, as in the atmosphere and theme. Give it a rest. That added nothing to the conversation.
Another reason why SFMW is an "original" kind of park. The animals. Now you will say, several parks feature live animals in a zoo-like experinence. However, I feel that SFMW is up to Busch Gardens standards in this regard. They have done a great job of balancing the animal attractions and the ride attractions in their park. It looks like SFWoA could learn a lot from this park.
I have only good things to say about their operations as well. This wasn't the typical Six Flags experience that most (Antuan?) have come to expect. When I was there last summer, their ride ops and staff did a very admirable job- certainly better than their So Cal compatriots. :)

Refresh the page a few times if it doesn't show up right away (that's what I had to do).

Sweet, I'm so glad a park got Texas Tornado!

When I first heard this name I thought it was *really* lame. Now I think it's very unique (even if it is close to Zinga lol) and works really well, esp since it actually means something in Swahili (coil, or loop).
Good job SFMW! Hopefully I can get out there to ride it this year, seeing as how I've missed it the last two years at SFAW.

"No honey, the monkeys have already done enough damage on this trip." - Guy coming out of front gate at SFGAd
Antuan, Six Flags did not build Boomerang, that was Marine World Africa USA.
Medusa and Roar aren't completely original, but they're not clones. Even if Medusa was a clone in it's precent form, it would have no effect on me because it would still be the greatest ride in the Bay Area, regardless of what lies 3,000 miles away.
What's so different from the regular style here. Zonga fit's into the park style perfectly:
-Roar
-Kong
-Voo Doo
-Jambo
-The Ark
-Cobra
-Tasmanian Devil
-White Water Safari
-Monkey Business
-Thrilla Gorilla
-Walk-a-Bout
-Warrior of the Dawn 3D
Atleast it's a better name than some of the others. One of the park's best flat rides has the name "hello."
