SFMW- Aug 14th "best sfmw trip so far"

Ok, this trip has been arranged for 2 weeks. I was plannin on meeting 4 enthusiasts there, Ben, Andy, Kevin, Jack, and their friends.

Our meeting times were, 10:00-10:30 Medusa. And 11:00 V2. My dad was running late as always and we entered the park at 10:50! I missed our first meeting time at Medusa, so I called Ben on his cell phone telling him that I will be on my way to V2, he okayed it. I reached V2 at exactly 11:00. It was our back up time so I started looking for the others. In about 1 minute I spotted Ben.

We could not find the others yet, so we took 1 ride on V2. After the ride, we look for Kevin and Jack again, no luck. I told Ben what Jack was wearing "a Jimmey Eat World shirt thats gray with black sleeves"

Ben then tells me that he spotted someone wearing a shirt exactly as I described. It was as Ben was leaving the Medusa Plaza, Jack was entering. So then I figured that the others got the times backwards. We manage 2 more rides on V2, and yet still no sign of Jack and Kevin, It's 11:20 so we catch a ride on Roar.

It's 11:30 and we get off Roar and at V2's exit I spotted Kevin! Then coming from V2 is Jack! Now the group of 7 is altogether. We head to the back of the park, and watch Kevin play Jack on DDR. Kevin is the DDR king. We catch a ride on Hammerhead shark and head over to Boomerang for a quick ride. It was nearing 1:00 and I had to meet my dad at the sky coaster at 1:00. We catch another quick ride on Taz.

It's 1:00 and I meet my dad at the skycoaster. Ben brings out his coupon and Ben, Andy and I pay for a ride on the sky coaster. Kevin, Jason, Jack and Caitlin sit on the bench near by as we get ready to ride it.

This was my first skycoaster, and I believe it's good to start off small. SFMW's skycoaster is pretty small, I think it's around 125 feet. Anyways we beggin going up backwards and I am scared to death. Looking down at the pond below us is an added thrill. The ride attendant yells out "3...2...1...FLY!!!" All of a sudden Andy pulls the cord and we fly down. It was amazing! I love skycoasters now. Afterwards, our group heads over too watch the master at DDR once more. It's getting really hot so we decide to hit a ride on Monsoon Falls. It was a great ride to cool off on. V2 is our next ride and I get on with Kevin so I can show him my Invention. We go to Medusa for my first Medusa ride of the day. It was running great today. It was nearing 3:45 so Kevin and Jason had to leave.

With the remaining 6, Ben, Andy, Jack, Caitlin, my brother and I, we get on several more rides and after another couple rides on Medusa It's nearing 4:00 so I had to head over to Monsoon Falls to meet my dad. Ben and Andy head over near Boomerang to get a bite to eat, and I don't know where Jack and Caitlin went. We decided to meet at Kong at 4:30. The stay at Monsoon Falls ends up being a half an hour and my sister wanted to go on V2 with me.

I call Ben and told him if he can meet up with Jack and Caitlin at Kong at 4:30 and If he can bring the group over to meet me at V2. He says sure. My sister leaves with my brother and I stay at V2 for a couple of rides and I meet Ben and Andy, but no Jack. Turns out Ben couldn't find Jack. We manage another ride on V2, and head over to Medusa.

The line had very few people so I manage to catch 3 or so rides on it with Ben and Andy. It's nearing 6:00 and I have to meet my dad at 6:00 near the entrance so we can leave. I spot my brother and my sister in Medusa's line and we all catch 1 more ride to end the day. It's 6:00 and I we parted with Ben and Andy and found my dad near the entrance and left.

It was such a great time at the park. My best ever. We have to do this every year as a tradition. Thanks guys for spending the day with me.

I'm glad you had fun Adrian, because I did too. I just want to say that Skycoasters are they best things since sliced bread. That thing scared the crap out of me, but it was so awsome! Kevin is the true DDR king. I got a lot of rides on V2 and Medusa, I think like 10 each(give or take). Well I had fun and we have got to do this again next year. Thanks to all that went!

Sounds like you all had a nice time. I love SFMW too. I am still not sure what I think of V², but it is super fun regardless. Kong is rougher than ever, but hey...........:) Nice TR.

Adrian, sounds like you all had an awesome time! I hope I can get back out to MW for Fright Fest. I've only gone once this year and I have a season pass too! Oh well, great TR!

Six Flags Marine World.......home to the new "not so vertical anymore" V2!

That was a great day, we have to do it again. For reference for anyone that doesnt know me, I'm Jack. Sorry we coudn't find each other after you had to meet your dad, it kind of sucked. But I had a really fun time throughout the day. Wow, do I suck at DDR or WHAT? lol

Well I sure had fun Wednesday. DDR was a blast (I'm Kevin) and so was getting to ride V2 again!! It was good to meet up with you guys and yeah, maybe we'll do it again next year (or later again this year? :) )
