SFMM's hypers - CoasterBuzz

Well now SFMM has 2 hyper coasters, x and goliath. But one thing I have noticed with both is that they are pretty short, whats up with that?

goliath isnt short...compared to X, its long.

The answer is a simple one. Both Goliath and X are firsts from their respected companies. Notice how Titan is longer?

True, so I guess when the 4-D comes to GreatAdventure it will be longer ;)

Titan's is longer due to a MINOR design flaw on Goliath. Goliath comes into the mid-track brake run WAY TOO HOT. Titan added an additional upward spiralling helix prior the the brake run in order to slow the train a bit more naturally prior to the brake run. If you have ever been on Goliath you know that it feels like the train is SLAMMING on the brakes in the middle of the ride.

A future "X" will be identical.
A future 4D coaster may be longer, just to be longer.

In MY opinion, the only ride that doesnt seem too short is Riddlers Revenge.

AND FLASHBACK, cause it cant be over soon enough, AHHGGG!!!

Hmmm Goliath is 3:00 minutes something, that doesnt feel short to me.

Well, I don't really know, but 255' up is a long way. Most of that time is probably going up. correct me if I'm wrong.

goliath is tight what yall talking about.it aint short

MF Rules:
Goliath's train station is actuall quite high off the ground. Climbing the steps to it when there isnt a line is quite tiring. The lift hill is about the same as any normal coaster.10-20 seconds.

ok

The extra helix on Titan adds alot to the ride. Im not saying Goliath is bad, not at all. But I think titan is better.
