SFMM Trip

Hi,

I'm gonna go to Six Flags Magic Mountain, sometime between 20-24th of December. What I wanna know is the exact hours of operation, what rollercoasters to go on (so far SCREAM!, X {if operating}, Goliath, Riddler's Revenge, Superman, Deja Vu {if operating}, Flashback, and maybe others, but not BTR, since i have a clone @ my home park in MTL. Also, should I expect long lines, and what best advice could I get in going to the park?

P.S. Is X's first drop freaky as #$@*?

You can find their schedule (and website) here: http://www.sixflags.com/parks/magicmountain/

What coasters are good? Check out the trip reports section of the forum for some reviews.

In reply, I went to the site, but it says the days of operation but not the hours...

Yes it does, roll your mouse over the calender and it will give you the hours. The green squares indicate 10-6, the yellow ones are 10-8.

Yes, X's first drop is insane. Crowds are usually fairly light to medium. A few of the older rides may be walkons, and I doubt anything will have a line longer than 45 minutes, with the exception of X. Of course I cannot predict the future, unless I consult the Magic 8 Ball.

ALSO:

Is there anywhere online where I could get SFMM rollercoaster videos that are free and not .mov format?

I went to SFMM on Dec. 22nd last year and nearly everything was a walk-on...even X. X had 10 minute waits (two trains or so). Good, good times.

They were, however, running two trains on X, and that might be less of a possibility this winter, though maybe the colder weather makes it easier for them to run two and they'll go ahead and do it anyway...

/wishful thinking.
