SFMM Question, please help

Tuesday, April 2, 2002 6:55 AM
Hey everyone, I am going on a trip out to LA in mid-may, and of course was planning on going to the mountain. Just wondering if anyone out there has any idea as to how crowded it would probably be (it'll be a weekday), and if you think i would need one or two days to get a couple rides on everything.... any input would be appreciated!! (and don't worry, i'm planning on visiting Knott's too)

Your going to Knotts but not Disney? Blasphemy, pure blasphemy.

d7droogs52, Weekdays in Mid-May are the absolute BEST time to go to SFMM. EVERYTHING (with the exception of X perhaps) should be a walk-on. I would imagin that even X will have a RELATIVELY short wait (compared to the waits it has seen thus far). I have been able to ride EVERYTHING at SFMM before 2pm on weekdays in MAY. If you can do this, head to Knotts and go in after 4pm. They offer discount admission after 4pm. You should be able to hit all of the good rides there and get in about 5 laps on GhostRider before they close.

Usually, our trips are for two days. We spend the whole first day at SFMM, riding and re-riding. Then we return to the mountain on day two for a few hours before heading to Knotts for the afternoon special. If you have NEVER been to Disneyland, I would suggest you work in a day there, too.

I've traded in my 2000 Giovanola for a 2002 Arrow X4D :)
My other car is now an Arrow X4D!

I'd give Magic Mountain one day, KBF and DCA are far superior....give disney 2 days, 1 day at each of their parks.
