SFMM New S&S Ride Is REAL!

Construction walls have been put up for the preparation of the new S&S pay-per-ride attraction @ SFMM! www.twistedrails.com shows this. This is the long discussed attraction where riders are shot skywards and reversed head over heels at the top and plummet back to earth.
I thought it would be a S&S Snow Shot like the one from IAAPA. Are there any pics & info of the one you're talking about? How tall is it?

It couldn't be a Snow Shot as you can be sure that will need a long stretch of land. The walled up land as it it would take a vertical ride.
Wow.

Let the bears pay the Bear Tax, I pay the Homer Tax.

I'll believe once the press release is out. Sounds cool though!

Deja Vu - Think you've experienced it before...think again!

X - Xperience the Xtreme - It breaks all the rules!
OMG! And those walls just confirm it's going to be a thrill ride, since they are used for all other kinds of construction too!

Great Pics! The bridge is accually really long! I hope that is not a big part of the queue! Right out in the sun with NOTHING to make the wait pass by. I think SFMM isn't this crazy and I think it is a small part of the queue, the first few years when the ride has huge lines it will be used, but at least add some of the QTV's! This also could mean that MM could be theming the ride. All rides that aren't heavily themed do not have the TV's but I dought it! Oh well glad to see the HUGE lifthill going up!

I was there the 25th, the walls are up and I have pictures of orange spraypaint / groundmarkings behind the wall. (taken from the Jet Stream queue and exit ramp)

SOMETHING is happening, but so far nothing official has been announced.

"X" marks the spot in 2001!
Interesting. I'm not convinced it's an S&S ride yet, but I would sure like it to be. (It could just be a restroom or a Lemon Chill place. Let's hope not!)

WHAT IS A SNOW SHOT!!!!!!!!????????!!!!!!!!
Todd, there will be no queue because it is a pay attaction. I have heard $30 a pop, but that sounds kinda steep.

The Pens will win the Stanley Cup in 2002!
Well there will be no announcement they didn't announce any of there other pay per ride attractions so why would they start now. It will cost about 30 bucks for the ride and 20 for an on ride video, the ride can hold 6 people and is 300 feet tall so this will fit right into the X-treme park atmosphere.

The S&S snow shot far as I know is a stimulator dark ride type of attraction where the guest board Snow mobiles and can race amongest each other at great speeds.
Snow Shot is neither a dark ride, nor a simulator. It consists of single passenger snow mobiles that are air launched on a straight piece of track, and people race each other. This is an upcharge attraction not too different from Top Fuel Dragsters, or whatever those things are called.

SFMMlord, if you're that antsy to find out what it is, why not just type Snow Shot into the search box? It's been discussed many times here before.

It's probably going to be a shop or something. The way some of you talk of this thing, you think it would take up a huge piece of land, wouldn't you?
From S&S's press packet, the Snow Shot is a long and narrow ride... That area really isn't the right size or shape for a Snow Shot ride, from what I've observed.
