SFMM Lines

I'm going to SFMM around Christmas and I'm wondering how the lines will be. Will I be able to get on everything?

The park will be busy, but nowere near the summercrowds. You should be able to do all the major rides in a day. (Or get a Q-Bot if it is really busy)

Whatever you do, do NOT order food at Johnny Rockets. Slowest fast food I've had at two different parks.

X2 is very low capacity and even if the line is short, it is going to take a while; Superman is very similar.

When I went in May, the crowds were light, but still wasn't able to ride everything in one day.

Having said that, I think if you get to the park early, stay till it closes, and start with a plan, I think that you "can" ride everything in one day. I don't think that a casual walk in the park will do it.

It will be interesting to read your trip report in a couple of months.

I went to SFMM in 2011 at Christmas time. We rode 12 or 13 coasters with a Q-bot. Some of the coasters are closed and the price will be a little cheaper at that time. I would recommend getting your tickets later as well as the Q-bots if you are considering this. Like the above post states. The park is slower. Kids are off school so it will be busier than the week before. Get the Q-bot if you have the extra cash.

I was there a few weeks ago and I was able to hit 24 rides. X2 was down for repairs still, Superman was only running one side and went down several times, but the lines were incredibly short, hit it 5 times throughout the day. I was there on a Monday from 10am until 6pm. I don't know how it compares to Christmas, but if you're lucky you might be able to get in more than a few rides.

I would get there at opening and do X2 first if it's running. Take an aspirin when you get in line, then ride Viper and hopefully your headache will be gone before you get to Tatsu.

To being an "us" for once - instead of a "them".

Granted it has been 9 or 10 years, but I thought Viper aged particularly well.
