I am tryin to go to Las Vegas in December the week of Christmas and want to go to SFMM since I have a SF season pass and wantin to try to go to Knotts Berry Farm also, never have been!! Is this a decent time to go? I noticed that KBF is open up everday, thats cool. So I any suggestions, tips...has anyone been to this two parks during late Dec.???? Don't go to Knott's on Christmas Day, that's the only day it is closed during the entire year.
I've been to Knott's in November before, there's no long lines and Motezuma and Boomerang were walk-ons. I've been to SFMM in October, which is somewhat crowded because of the halloween stuff (not as bad as summer though). don't know about december though...

Sfmm isn't usally crowded during December. For one thing it gets cold (for CA). Knott's shouldn't be crowded before Christmas.

You'll find fewer crowds during that time of the year but you'll also find rides closed for annual maintenance. Best off-season times to visit So Cal parks: October [when Knotts & SFMM have Haunt] and early March [when Knotts usually has their Winter Solace event].

2004 Coaster Calendar now available. 13 Coasters in 12 months! Order in advance and save. Quantities are limited! See S&D Greetings for details.

I went last year too both parks in early Dec. and found both to be pretty slow with little waits for the rides. Also thougfht Knotts did a good job re-doing Ghost Town for x-mas and a nice x-mas snoopy show if traveling w/kids.
