SFMM continues work on its three new attractions

A lot has happened in the two days since my last update. The 4th attraction has started to go vertical with two of the three towers partially up. X is now tracked partially through the station turnaround and has supports going up for the second Raven Turn. Finally, Deja Vu has begun it's test runs. I didn't personally view a test run but I saw the train rocking between the loop and second tower.

IOArules: In the pics of the train the wheel assembly is not visible. Those are dollies the trains are sitting on. It had me stumped for a second, too.
Yeah, I'm not frustrated. As I have maintained all along, these coasters came out of nowhere as far as I'm concearned. I wasn't expecting anything so soon after Goliath. So I'd sound pretty spoiled demanding that they open when I want them to open.

DeJa's train was supposed to stop in the middle of the loop and second tower.(IMO) They were probly just testing out the brakes on the Cobra Roll and on the Loop, remember this thing is loaded with brakes...as for X they did a whole lot in just two days. Expect this thing to be finished by the beginning of August.

Over 1 week to the construction of the X will be completed. Then 2 weeks of checking of the construction and electronics. Then 4 weeks of testing.
Forget about the construction picks on that site, chack out the 3rd person POV. WOW!!!;)

I was just going to say that. The POV finally erases all questions about what the cars(and the ride)will do. The ride is extremely short, but if it's anything like that video, it will be flat out amazing!

I had that problem too ALEEN6E6, I didn't have Quicktime 5 installed, go to www.quicktime.com and download it.
So did anyone else listen to not only the music but the "OOOOHHHH GOOOODDD" in the background as X went down the first hill?? That's really awesome!!! I need to plan a trip to Cali some time.

THe 'Thrill Shot' at Cedar Point is being strung for cable's tonight.
They topped off 2 of the 3 towers on Thurs night and the other was supposed to happen Friday night.

All 7 hours of night-time raising construction are documented there. I've been up there about 6-8 hours a night AFTER the park closed taking pics.
